Hi guys, I need some advice. My kefir grains just aren't growing. Any idea why? Also, I leave my kefir to ripen at room temperature after straining because I can't have lactose. How long can you leave it out of the fridge for before it goes off? I really shouldn't have ANY lactose...
Oh, I have (accidentally) been using an aluminium strainer. Will get a stainless one today. Could that be the problem?
