Dear Adrian
In my experience and that of my daughter the first
Liver Flush is the most horrendous in the number of times you go to the toilet. Now, on my 10th flush I only go a maximum of 5 times the morning after and only pass stones. On her first flush my daughter went 30 times and her shape changed permanently and she lost a lot of weight she had been carrying for two years. She is so much better. She has just completed her 4th flush and went only a few times. So, I would say, don't change the dosage of
Epsom Salts . I have done that with previous
Liver Flushes and they were not as successful. I now think that you need the 4tbs (horrible as it is) to dilate the bile ducts and to make sure that everything is cleared out - the stones as well. Good luck with your flush! By the way I had acupuncture for six months for the unexplained head, neck, shoulder and upper back pain I had. It helped a lot and then I discovered this site and flushed the pain away! My acupuncturist, who is also an orthopaedic surgeon, said at the time, for some reason he could not explain, the nerve pathways coming up from the stomach to the head region had become sensitised. This ties in neatly with H. Clarke's explanation of why stones cause these pains.
