I was told that almost all people with diagnosed Systemic Candida have low HCL. It must have something to do with the alkalinity that the Candida create. They love an alkaline If your stomach does not kill bateria or fungus that enters the mouth or it does not fully digest your food you will constantly return to a state of dysbiosis (messed up digestion).
I suggest that you go to an ND that has the test to check your stomach HCL production. The test is a German name called something like Herxemburger (spelling?) test where you swallow a fake pill on a string and lay down on your left side for approx 5-10 minutes. The doctor then takes the string out and puts a solution on the string. If you have low HCL the string will turn a dark green (somewhat to the PH test). When I went to this ND I was sure he was going to get me to buy more products, spend more money, put his kids through school.. etc.. Instead he wanted to heal me and not take advantage of me and found the root of the problem. Some people just have low HCL by genetics. They have to suppliment or they get sick. Systemic Candida patients slowly adapt this condition due to the environment Candida prefers. Also I have found that NIACIN helps to provide HCL as well.
If you have low HCL it doesnt matter what antifungal, juice cleanse, fast, diet you do you will always return to a state of dysbiosis. You also have to make sure you are having at least 2 bowel movements a day. This prevents undigested food from going bad inside you.
Hope this helps.
