Last year I ate a lot of Chicken and Turkey. After a few weeks My (Sprue) CD symptoms ( Extremely Intense Hunger like pains) that I get from
Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) came back, I checked and rechecked my diet for anything that might have
Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) in it. The Chicken and Turkey were pre salted (that is the clue that keeps me away from them now) also has Sodium Phosphate in it. Recently I checked the cooked chicken at Costco and it has these ingredients in it plus flavorings. My Question is:: Does anyone know what exactly is in these pre salted Chickens and Turkeys that causes the
Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) stomach pain. Is sodium Phosphate another name for MSG?. My History: I have known that I have CD (in the 60's it was just called Sprue ) since "65-66" and have been reading Labels since then and have not had any reoccurances until last year. Thank You for your help. Jim chapman
