lynnel, thank you for trusting me, I hope I can be of some help to you.
I've had the indigestion you're experiencing, and at times have fallen short of the six-per-day (sometimes I'll only have two or three just because I can't bear to have another drink), don't force yourself. If your system doesn't want a drink, inundating it with the lemonade won't make you feel better.
That is a lot of weight to have lost in such a short time, but not too concerning except that it's probably a shock to your system. So of course, being in panic mode, it's trying to get you to revert back to seven days ago.
Your proportions are a bit off, so I'm wondering if that may have something to do with your system not being too compliant. The book is pretty specific about the amount of lemon juice staying constant and advises 1oz (which is only 2T.) per about 8 oz.
water. Maybe if you try to stick to 2T each of lemon and maple with 8 oz
water, plus the cayenne, things will even out.
Drinking lots of water is really important, so try to conscientiously make yourself have some between drinks. As someone who normally drinks water maybe once a month, I know this can be a burden too easy to avoid, but you really will feel the difference!
Try hot peppermint tea when you don't want the lemonaid, or when you need some extra fluids. I find making peppermint sun-tea helps me with additional water intake.
You are obviously committed to seeing this through which is the greatest! You're attitude is strong, so don't dismay.
I wish I could relate to your "chest" hunger. I have a feeling it's due to the sudden weight loss, but that's only my opinion and I hope others will also share their thoughts to help you.
I find when I really want to just shove something solid in my mouth that taking a walk - getting away from temptation - really helps (I do have a glass of lemonade before heading out the door). It seems to energize me, gives me time to realize my enjoyment of the cleansing and lets me come home with determination to carry on.
How are things with the laxative tea and/or SWF? Sometimes I feel "off" due to being reluctant to drink the tea for a couple days (as it is I only drink it Mon, Wed, and Fri, with the salt-water flush on Saturday morning).
As I've said, I've been on the Master-Cleanse
many times before and there were times when I had no cravings the first two days, but was fighting the urge for the entire remainder (and times that I failed and felt angrily dissappointed in myself). I wonder how many days your going for. If you're going for ten, you are SO close and if you can hold out and stay focused and keep coming to the forum where everyone's behind you 100% you can make it!
Know that I support you and wish you a enjoyable cleansing. Let us know how it goes.
Sending good vibes,
