Hi all, my name is Elizabeth and I've been reading this forum (and the archived forums!) diligently since finding them yesterday. I'm 24 years old and this is my first (yay!) cleanse.
I bought Yerba Prima's Women's Renew kit on Sunday, and took the first round of pills that night, along with a tblsp of Great Plains Bentonite. Monday morning I took the next round of pills and had a heaping tsp of Metamucil around noon, pills at night, and another tblsp of Bentonite
- this time I mixed it with a little chocolate pudding, which made it a lot easier to eat. Is this okay? One regular bm, nothing special. I don't have any problems with constipation and have never had a yeast infection, so I'm hoping all is good in that respect. I'm just really fascinated, grossed out and excited about the prospect of getting some plaque out!
Anyhow, yesterday it all started. As soon as I got to work at 4:30am, bm - easy coming and well...copious. I mean, a TON. Ate some oatmeal and blueberries about an hour later, and had to go again - once more, HUGE bm. SHOCKING. Got home, had some metamucil and had to go again - this time there were two undigested blueberries in there (TMI, I know!), after some freaking out I'm positive that's what they were. This bm came a bit quick - not the runs by any means, but very...quick feeling. Had one more uneventful bm (4! In one day!) last night.
This morning my body was apparently on the same schedule, because 4:30 came around again and THIS time, I'm almost certain there was some MP in there. Definitely two distinct types of bm, but they were wound together? One very light-colored - and what I'm sure was the MP, looked just like the pictures, dark-colored. It wasn't in ropes, though, just pieces. Had some more come out in the after-breakfast bm. When I got home I had another cup of metamucil and soon after had to go again, but once more, it was quick, with another undigested blueberry and shocker - a partially digested vitamin multiple that I take nightly. In fact, I found two, obviously these vitamins have poor dissolution rates? I've since had another (making 4 again today at 5:00pm) with what looked like two small pieces of MP in other "recent" stuff. Definetely some undigested tomato skin from last night's dinner.
My question is should I be trying to slow things down a bit? I'm not sure if my movements are coming on a little too rapidly? Is it okay to be taking the metamucil and Bentonite
with the Women's Renew? I drink a ton of water, at least 100oz a day, and weigh about 94 pounds. I have been having a little cramping, but it is a surprisingly pleasant-type feeling, and not really uncomfortable - almost like the residual "good" pain you feel after you get a massage.
Anyway, I'm SO glad I found this forum, and have had a ball reading all of your messages. Hopefully I'll be getting some ropes soon, too!
Does anyone have any links on foods that actually cause MP?
