I thought of Alisaun when I came across this due to the flute aspect.

Let There be Light
The beginning Chapter of the Book of Genesis teaches us that everything contains an elemental of light. So it was that I sense it was also the Creator's expressed will that caused a portion of that Divine Light dwell within each of us. Within this light equivalence we can begin to examine the symbology that represents to us the indwelling soul. From here it's not a far stretch to image that the soul using the body as its host for a given
lifetime. Through the mind, the medium of our brain becomes the vessel where the soul can impress upon the brain the nature of its work and when to begin it in earnest. As an example imagine for a moment that your Soul vibrates to the note of 'C'. When your body personality (metal, emotional, physical)
becomes sufficiently refined and has attained a similar satisfactory vibrational level of matter, your soul can begin to impress its mission and communicate its purpose as part of that plan. We can witness such examples even today through the work of great men and women (Emerson, Madame Currie, Bach, Einstein etc.) as they responded to the call of their soul.
So it is that then that through an act of will that when you sit in daily silent commitment of meditation you are striving to unify your personality (physical you) plodding forward on this refinement process. The music of ones Soul is similar to the liquid amber and haunting resonance of the pan flute. As we continue to meditate we eventually learn the notes tothis new
song of the Soul. Each successive day as we practice we perfect the notes till one day we can play it in perfect harmony. The alignment of soul and personality is perhaps more aptly portrayed and imaged as a musical blending of the higher and lower aspects of ourselves. Think of this blending as the joining together of higher and lower octaves of music that become the chords of music. I keep returning to the notion a musical score as it is the
Creator's Opus written from all that is part of this Divine Plan. Each one of us emanates a vibration that has depth, color, light and quality. Each one of us plays a note with our lives and our note joins the lives all those other notes creating a cosmic composition in syncopated time to the rhythms, beat and measure of the universe. Yet it is within the spaces between those
notes, in all those silent spaces, where the true music is known and can be appreciated.
It's during moments between our daily notes and especially during and upon completion of meditation when the mind is held steady in concentration that we become receptive to the music of the soul as it is conveyed to the brain bathed in the light of intuitive insight. It's here we receive the impressions of a Hierarchy and Master of what it is that we are suited to
undertake as our orchestral role. The impressions of the Higher (remember the octaves of music) can only be stepped down to a certain vibrational frequency of matter and become music that we can learn, play and sing. It's only through individual and collective efforts aimed at elevating our own consciousness through raising our own vibrational frequency that allows us
to be able to learn and play that musical score.
Pause for a moment and remember the most beautiful sunrise or sunset you have ever saw. Do you feel the notes of music that were played? Now consider it is in this manner that we will see individual and the collective consciousnesses of humanity shift and witness the shining of this 'Light' our own and that of humanities burst forth in all its radiant brilliance.
Namaste!
