The Master-Cleanse forum is incredibly lively and supportive, huh?

I was delighted to discover it after a very short stint at the Yahoo fasting forum, which was not happening for me. I moved to curezone just as soon as I found it... and imagine my delight at discovering the incredible menu of forums available. WOW! Big service! A miracle in many lives.

I live in Mexico and only recently got satellite Internet (having had no land line phone!). Last year when I did a 28 day MC, it was pretty much me and my Naturopath! Fortunately I have a supportive partner, and some good friends, but... unless you have done and/or are doing a fast or cleanse of some kind, it can seem somewhat unusual to the unitiated, shall we say.

It all started over two years ago when my partner went
to Guadalajara, which has world class medical, for a routine checkup (he is 70). He was diagnosed with "probably" prostate cancer, and the tip top urologist wanted to operate "right away". He called me from the clinic (of course the doc had his own clinic) and said What do I do? Get another opinion, I said. Well, he got three, all tip top in the field, all insisting he should have surgery "right away" in their beautiful private clinics. One did a four part biopsy... clean! But still insisted surgery was "the only safe decision".

I told him to come home. We went right to our local naturopath. She is a true blessing to our community, and one of our few natural alternatives. Gloria was an RN for years, and got cancer. Her very progressive oncologist put her on a month of the Master-Cleanse to clean out all the poisons he had filled her with to kill her cancer! She never felt better in her life. She had been moving away from the medical community for some time, and this pushed her to take up natural medicine in a big way. She became a naturopath, and an iridologist, and a nutritionist, and so has a wonderful bag of tricks, with a good medical background to boot. She has a small but excellent list of MDs who are willing to work with her in cardiology, gynecology etc.

SO... I took Carlos to see Gloria. She did an iridology reading and said, There's nothing wrong with your prostate not related to your ARTERIES! In fact, I am not concerned with your prostate, but really would like to see you do a full course of oral chelation to clean out those arteries.

His family tends to have the same problems: High blood pressure, heart attacks, diabetes... The doctors also diagnosed him with diabetes. Gloria told him he was not yet diabetic, but that his pancreas was pretty much flat-lining. She prescribed herbs, diet and exercise and his blood Sugar came right back to normal.

Carlos had a perfectly white ring around the iris of each eye, which I thought was scary looking. Gloria said it was calcification reflecting the condition of his arteries! If it doesn't go out, it stays in! And of course has to settle somewhere! A year and lots of "Drano" (the oral chelation) later, the white rings are GONE from his eyes! He works out at the gym daily and has boundless energy. He continues to work at maintaining his arterial health.

Well, then there's me! I was 46 at the time, and was having bad periods, joint aches, headaches, no luck losing weight even with good diet and exercise, and generally didn't feel wonderful. I figured since I was in the neighborhood with Carlos, hey! Have her take a look.

She said, Not a thing wrong with you not related to your intestines! I was shocked and amazed to learn I was CONSTIPATED! I mean, I have always been regular as clockwork. I go at the same time every day! Constipated?

It turned out to be a gross understatement. I started with a month or two of an herbal bowel cleanser. Dandy. Except it didn't do much! On to colonics. She said Normal People do a series of three and are clean as whistles. I ended up doing many many colonics, working through layers and layers of old garbage that I HONESTLY had no idea I was living with. My stomach looked about 10 months pregnant but hey! I thought I was FAT!

That was not fat. That was the John Wayne thing! I have had an archaeological dig INSIDE ME for many years, and was headed for my family heritage of diverticulitis, colitis, IBS, colon surgery, maybe a nice colostomy...

I was truly blessed by Carlos' prostate problem. I had my eyes opened WIDE, and have been on the Cleansing Trail ever since, over two and a half years.


Last year I did a 28 day MC. Gloria would have liked to see me go longer, but I had to break due to travel plans. It was a great experience and, combined with colonics, helped my body to do much good work.

At the time I planned to do another Master-Cleanse in 6 months. Unfortunately for one reason or another this did not happen. In December I got a terrible virus that filled every square inch of me with mucous which refused to budge! By MAY, I was still coughing semi-solid chunks out of my bronchi, feeling and looking terrible!

Off to see Gloria. She said, do a month of fruits and vegetables.

I did, and then went straight into the MC. Early in the cleanse I started keeping pretty much a regular diary on the Curezone MC forum, and cannot tell you what incredible support and information and joy I found, and continue to find there.

At day 28 I saw Gloria and started a series of colonics. She said, do ten more days. At day 38 another colonic, and she said, do ten more, then go to juices for ten more. At day 45/46, the lemonade let me down. I broke on fresh OJ, then straight into fruit juice in the am, veggie juice in the pm.

I was craving PEPPER--jalapeño, cayenne... and LOTS of garlic! And the veggie juices were my big thing: carrot, beet, celery, cucumber, tomato, red, yellow, green peppers, parsley or cilantro, garlic...

I drank juice like crazy, and after the day 48 colonic started to really break loose a lot of stuff I had previously seen only in the colonic tube. Rocks! Clouds! Strings! And color. Lots of color!

Then on Saturday, day 57, a major fasting crisis! I broke through a major pocket of garbage which made me you-got-the-flu sick all day, with nausea, ORANGE diarrhea, joint pain, headache, chills, weakness--I slept all day. When I finally came to and could do an enema I felt--- tired but happy!

And the next day, pretty good! And yesterday, day 59, another very very productive colonic in which for the first time ever we saw pieces of The Wall (stuff located RIGHT against my actual colon, which I had despaired of ever seeing)!! Very exciting. And bunches and bunches of orange color. The crisis area is right next to my liver, and the crisis freed a lot of bad bile. I will do a Liver Flush after building up with a good clean diet for a couple of weeks. That will be interesting!!

So the happy news yesterday, Gloria says Start eating, lots of raw fruits and vegetables, with good clean protein focusing on FISH! I live on two oceans, and we can ALWAYS get the best fish! Chicken is ok, but you never know where chicken has been, and the dorado (mahi mahi) I had last night was caught by my friend Joe the afternoon before we ate it! I had it with baby greens with flaxseed oil dressing, and today I feel incredible!

So I'm not Done, but this Big Cleanse, TWO MONTHS of MC and juice, plus colonics, has been another miracle! I lost over 45 lbs., the "adult acne" I have been struggling terribly with is virtually gone, and the skin all over my body is soft and moist and smooth. My vision has improved dramatically, and I feel light, clear and joyful physically, mentally and spiritually. And of course buckets and buckets of GARBAGE OUT!

And JudahFirst, Ophelia, denizen3 and many others who are on the cleansing healing path, supporting others who would otherwise fail in their efforts.

I have seldom seen such a positive, supportive, organic group. I wish the juice forum were more lively, and try to get over there to give support to those who need it. (The crickets are chirping over there!) But I always return to the MC page, which truly feels like Home for Happy Fasters!
