Hello everyone. I am new to this particular site and am hoping that someone out there may be able to help me. So here is my story...
Growing up, I was very lucky and could probably count the number of pimples/zits/whatever that I've had on two hands. Then, all of a sudden, at 25, my forehead "broke out" in all of these tiny little bumps- not pimples, but bumps just under the surface of the skin. It was summer time, I was working out like crazy (4 hrs a day most days), and was sweating a lot! I had initally thought it may be from sweating and wiping my forehead while working out, but I was still worried since nothing like this had ever happened before. Well- it kept getting worse- thousands of little bumps that never turned into pimples and were concentrated on my forehead. I tried several skin care products (Proactive- a big mistake) and went to several Dermatologists who put me on several different types of medictaions- both topical and in pill form. That was disastrous!! My whole face broke out into red and purple pimples- it was so painful and the more medicine I took- the worse it got!
Finally- I decided to stop taking all medications and it eventually cleared up and went back to just being thousands of little bumps on my forehead. (Sadly, I now have scars from the break outs :-( mostly along my jawline). I started going for Facials and using really good, all natural face products (Yonka). The rest of my skin looks great, but it is now 2 years later and the bumps are all still there! I have always been very prone to hives and my forehead is so itchy!! It only gets red when I itch it, but it is dramatic how bad it can look in seconds if I itch it. It gets red and swollen and spreads all over my forehead. Fearing that it may be food related, I have tried to eliminate practicaly everything that I eat frequently at one point or another. I changed my bedding, towels, washcloths, detergent. You name it, I've tried it. I started with
colonics and
Liver Flushes hoping that would help, and it did help, but not much.
I am out of ideas. It has been over 2 years now and I feel as though there is no end in sight. Has anyone out there experienced this same thing or have any ideas that you feel may help me? I really appeciate any ideas that you may have!
Thank you so much!!
Cris :-)
