Hmm.. I don't believe I stepped up on my soap use just because I was dry brushing... I just added dry brushing to my health routine, and that was that. :)

Dry skin really likes oils, but doesn't always like moisturizers. Oils tell the skin to keep its moisture, while moisturizer tells it that it doesn't have to. During the winter, not that it gets all that cold here in So Cal but still, ;) in the winter I use an almond oil that they use in India to keep my skin happy and supple immediately after bathing.

may i suggest in stea dof soap that yo umight consder a buy ing a natural castile soapbar, and a bit of vegetalbe gylcerine
grat eh soap bar inot a bowl.
now hea tup about 2 litere saof water in a pot to boiling..
turn down hea t to siemmer and start gradually addign teh saop flakes.. til disovlede...
add about 4ounces gylcerine tothat..

stir it all tiel simmer ign adn well disoved then turn off
keep stirrring it as it cools down beatign it slight ly to hkeei it all together.... when it is done. pour it in a pump dispenser aor an old sampoo bottel even.. soem ofit. and leave to just 2 ltier bottel on floor as a refill
you coudl add a drop a coupel drops of rosemary oil ot tea tree oil etc to it as an anibacterial agent..
use it as a mild soap water y based gel / vyer vyer gnetle and will wash off dirt germ etc bu tnto be as harshas palign soap/ jsut pupm a squir ton your wash clothe and rub down.. 8)
