All debating aside, I have to agree that the health benefits that people experience from
Liver Flushing are undeniable. There are a couple of things to think about. Why or what causes
liver stones and gall stones to form in the first place? If one addresses the risk factors that lead to gall stones and
liver stones and minimize these, would these not also minimize the formation of liver and gall stones? If one focuses more on the prevention or minimization of gall and
liver stones , would one have to do countless(excessive)
Liver Flushes to discharge the stones or whatever toxic laden stones these may be if they are not gall stones. IMHO, excessive
Liver Flushing can lead to problems. I experienced a major depletion of minerals after 10 liver flushes. It is easy to say, oh well that was just cause you probably were not consuming enough foods with minerals in them. That is the kicker, I was! If anything my diet consisted of very high amounts of minerals that I was deficient in after 10 liver flushes. What that tells me is that
Liver Flushes do have health benefits and are worth looking at. However, excessive
Liver Flushing can cause problems as the
Liver Flushes may not only flush out toxins and
parasites but also important minerals that cannot be replaced faster than they are lost if you keep flushing and flushing and flushing. Taking some emergen c in water after every flush won't fix the problem either. I know cause I tried that. It is interesting to note that many times you will read about how someone appears to be getting sick after several liver flushes. When the person posts about this s/he is told to keep on flushing and the symptoms are chalked up as being due to a release of toxins. Sometimes the more the person keeps flushing the sicker and sicker they become. No one include the flusher considers the possiblity that the sickness could be the result of some serious mineral deficiency and it may be a cry from the body for the person to stop to allow the body sufficient time to recover from this. In this case a little Rest and Relaxation and temporary discontinuation from liver flushes may be what is in order, not a ridiculous amount of ongoing back to back liver flushes, which may simply add to the problem and do more damage.
Is it a coincidence that heavy consumption of high acid ash foods(french fries, hamburgers, high animal fat foods, sugar, pastries, cakes, etc.,) are considered to be major contributing and risk factors for the formation of gall stones? I think not. There is a theory that states that gall stones are produced in response to the body's need to balance a highly acidic PH and are a byproduct of the neutralization of acids. In other words, the more acidic foods that you eat and the more acidic your PH becomes the more gall stones and liver stones that you are likely to produce. I know that this may only be a theory and some will disagree, but I am convinced of this theory.
Bottom line, liver flushes done in moderation may be excellent for discharge of toxins and stones. But that is only one part of the equation. Equally important if not more important is the need to address PH imbalances or acidification that leads to the formation of stones in the first place. Unforutnately, way too may people become obsessed with one side of the puzzle(stone discharge) and pay little attention to the other.
