You (I see this in the Christianity Debate Forum also) keep referring to religious sects such as the Catholic Church as being Christian. This is wrong. They may have some Christian characteristics but it is mostly made up of man's doctrine.
Any Christian should not be drinking alcoholic beverages as alcohol can cause people to lose inhibition and their sensitivity to temptation and sin.

I know many christians how induldge in drink. And I know many who overindulge too. And some of the people hold postitions in the church and also teach bible studies.
nice try making christians sound like saints...

This is a reply to # 411,703If you were to do a language search, you would find out that in the Greek and Hebrew they have two different wines! One being non-fermented (grape juice) and one being fermented (what we call wine).

I do know very well how my own faith works and I will defend it until the return of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the narrow road that leads to life, there are few that find it. Many find the broad road to religion that leads them on a path of destruction.

actually I have stopped drinking or years now. I find it repulsive and I wont go to functions where I know there will be drink.
