I'm a little confused about your post but if your saying that Christians generally hide behind numbers and use Christianity as some kind of crutch or compensation then maybe you have not heard about the 100 thousand or so Christians that die for perservering in their faith despite persecution in places where they obviously don't hold the balance of power.
So, while in some places 'Christians' are in the majority and don't need to display such courage, it's definitely not always the case and these should be prepared to do what their equivalents are doing in other countries out of love for our God.
