Hi Selini,
You are welcome.
I believe you will get the complete health results you are after ONLY when you work up to a consistent "bowel tolerance" amount DAILY/hourly. The acid is more powerful/effective than the mineral ascorbates (gram for gram). IF I WERE YOU, I would take as much of my ascorbate as I could as ascorbic acid, and then the rest as SODIUM ascorbate ONLY. I suspect if you keep at it Selini, you'll find in a short time you can take ALL of your ascorbate in the acid form [as I do].
I take all of my ascorbic acid by tablet [only]. The powder/crystals is theoretically best, because it is 100% pure (and reaches the blood stream a little quicker), but the problem is getting it past one's teeth safely [so I take the tablets instead].
For pain [control] you might be interested in the following article by Dr. Cathcart:

Yes, I meant the non-human animals [particularly the wild animals, who virtually never get cancer, heart disease, or any of the other typical maladies of humans].
Yes, it is. I had a female Rottweiler once who came to me with that name, and I later found out its meaning.
You might find the following two quotes of interest Selini:
"There are more than ten thousand scientific papers that make it quite clear that there is not one body process (such as what goes on inside cells or tissues) and not one disease or syndrome (from the common cold to leprosy) that is not influenced - directly or indirectly - by vitamin C." -- Dr. Emanuel Cheraskin, M.D., Dr. Marshall Ringsdorf, D.M.D., and Dr. Emily Sisley, THE VITAMIN C CONNECTION.
“I have never seen a patient that Vitamin C would not benefit.” -- Dr. Frederick Klenner, M.D.
If you have any questions, comments, and/or criticisms, if you like, I would be happy to try and address them.
Best wishes,
David
