Hi cherrybum, sorry you're feeling so low. The starving/purging will not be doing your braincells much good. I had the same problem, and would forget what I was going to say half way through a sentance! (although I could always remember things from way back). I have found a lot of help in taking spirulina, a blue-green algae. It seems to give the nutrients that the mind/body need to function properly. I have noticed such a difference since taking it in the way I think and feel (and look), also, b/p doesn't even enter my head most days, probably because I am getting the nutrients I need. I would also make sure you are not dehydrated, and a good source of Essential Fatty Acids are a good idea, I take fish oil, Flax Oil or coconut oil are very good too. Wishing you well,
