fluff and stuff
I have hair that curls in a very unattractive manor. Needless to say, I straighten it everyday. On days that I wash my hair, I use a round brush and blow it straight. On days that I skip washing my hair, I use a straightening iron to get those unattractive pesky curls out that always end up forming after a night’s sleep. Now, I’m not saying wavy hair is unattractive, mine just is. The waves are strange and irregular and don’t fit with my face structure.
Anyway, my question is … all this heat from the blower and the iron make my hair dry, brittle, frizzy and unhealthy. Does anyone have any recommendations for ways to make my hair shiny, healthy and manageable again?
I would love to be able to wash my hair, comb it and not fuss so much with it, but I’m plagued with uncooperative hair and it just doesn’t work that way for me. Any tips for this sort of hair? Shampoos, conditioners, brushes, gels, sprays, serums, straighten irons, secret potions?
Thanks so much!
