Hiya Phillygirl! Good questions, good research. :)
Difference between
coffee enema and liver flush:
-
coffee enema rarely results in stones
-
coffee enema recommended mostly for brain fog, when Herxheimer Effect (healing crisis, die-off) symptoms are bad.
-
Liver Flush really forces liver AND gallbladder to release stones, not just toxins.
-Coffee enema means you're overdosing on caffeine, which is very very hard on the adrenals, so they should be limited.
There are
Liver Flush protocols that include
coffee enemas both before and after the flush, but to me this seems like overkill, and since glandular health is SO important to vitality, I don't like protocals that stress the glands (adrenals).
A
colonic is a very thorough
Colon Cleanse and usually that's what you need most after a liver flush. You usually just need the one, but when I was healing from candida and leaky gut I'd get a series of 6 (6 got me a discount) at least once a quarter.
Hope that answers your question! :)
