Hello, all. I just purchased the Colonix Internal Cleansing Program from www.drnatura.com. I have Candida (as you may know) and I am hoping this cleansing program, along with probiotics (Primal Defense), will help rid me of it. I, however, started this thread to see what your first-hand, and/or second-hand experience has been with Colonix and also to see whether any of you have any advice for me about Colonix.
Also, I should add that I am currently taking a handful of various supplements to help my hairloss issue. The supplements are: Solgar's L-Proline/L-Lysine tablets (2000mg/daily), Twin Labs Hair Factors (2000mg daily), Beta Sitosterol (375 mg/nightly), and a Flax, Fish, and Borage oils combo supplement (1200mg/nightly). Will these supplements affect my candida or my Colonix program? I should also include that the main reason in taking Hair Factors supplement is for the Vit. C, and the main reason for taking the Solgar's supplement is for the Lysine.

MoreThis is a reply to # 286,774I had the hair loss too. I have to say I insisted my dermatologist do a hair biopsy to find the cause. Then I insisted on cortisone shots. I got them 2 or 3 times. It worked excellent!!! When I say my hair was falling out all over the place is an understatement...it was everywhere..the floor..counters...shower..car..everywhere..it really worked...cant help you with the cleansing though...I'm just starting too..

MoreThis is a reply to # 286,776ahappysmileyface, thank you for your reply. what did the hair biopsy determine as for the reason of your hair loss? also, i have heard that cortisone shots may have adverse effects such as weight gain. did you have any side effects or anything like that for the cortisone? also, my candida is from what i believe to be long-term anti-biotics usage (I used keflex and minocycline for about 20-21 months). i believe my hairloss is caused by the candida. is this similar to your situation at all?
also, did the cortisone help regrow the lost hair, or did it just stop the hair loss.

what did the hair biopsy determine as for the reason of your hair loss? TELLUGEN EFFLUVIUM (I DONT KNOW IF I SPELLED THAT RIGHT...CAN BE CAUSED BY STRESS, HEREDITARY, PREGNANCY...)

also, my candida is from what i believe to be long-term anti-biotics usage (I used keflex and minocycline for about 20-21 months). i believe my hairloss is caused by the candida. is this similar to your situation at all? I BELIEVE SO. I TOOK MEDICINE FOR MONONUCLEOSIS FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS, AND MY PROBLEMS STARTED A SHORT TIME LATER

MY HAIR IS REAL LONG, AND ALL OVER MY SCALP I HAVE ABOUT 5 inches OF NEW HAIR GROWTH. WHICH IS KIND OF ANNOYING, BECAUSE ITS SO MUCH SHORTER THEN THE REST OF MY HAIR, BUT IT BEATS HAIR FALLING OUT. I FORGOT TO TELL YOU. AT THE TIME OF THE CORTISONE SHOTS I ALSO TOOK APPEAREX BIOTIN PILLS. THEY ARE EXTRA STRENGTH AND I GOT THEM AT ECKERDS. THEY ARE SOLD IN THE NAIL SECTION, SUPPOSEDLY TO STRENGTHEN FINGERNAILS, BUT WORKS GREAT ON HAIR
