Thank you for that link. Goodness, how about that! I wonder whether he would have had an easier time calling it a secular humanist group? In fact, I wonder what the difference is.
I met a real atheist once, he was a dear compassionate man who was totally supportive of his wife's religion. He actually shoveled snow and did cleaning for her church, saying the group had a good influence on its members and gave them solace.
What impressed me most about this man was that he believes he and his wife won't meet in heaven or anywhere, and believes that on his deathbed when he sees her for the last time, "Think how much MORE precious the sight of her sweet face will be to me!"
He was a wonderful spiritual man and I really respected him.
