1. Because believing the way I do has served me well and I have prospered and enriched the lives of others.
2. I am atheist because it has made every aspect of my life better than before, when I lied about it and said I did believe when I knew I didn't. But that's what I call wisdom, not having to care what others think of you because you have lived long enough to know that caring what others think doesn't get you anything in life.
3. A testimony: that's one of those religious words you'll have to explain before I answer. Maybe in your lingo I didn't gain testimony at all and also maybe under my lingo it has no significance whatsoever. Define "gain testimony" for me first.
4. Nothing has happened whatsoever that has caused me to disbelieve in god. I never did believe in god. I don't remember a time when I did. I know that I never have. I have been an atheist ever since I can remember. I had a wonderful childhood and I still enjoy a very nice life without hardships. I'm not fortunate for this, it just is--I have no reason to feel guilty about it, no one blessed me or anything. I guess when I experience tragedy I'll be one of those people who cry out to god--but probably not since there isn't one. I prefer to take full responsibility for my actions now and to be held completely accountable for them, knowing that nothing is coming to save me and that there is no forgiveness for evil. When I go to heaven I'll come back and say hello to you and tell you how right you were. I do alot of good and never do harm. I also never lie, cheat or steal. God isn't going to say, well, you were a great person but since you didn't believe, sorry, it's flames for you missy....so really, there's no reason to believe. But there's an awful good reason for all these religious people to start acting a little better, cause I've got a feeling that god is going to tell them that even though they did believe, they didn't lead very good lives....
