I guess I have never thought about the tax exempt status of churches. You are right it's unfair. I try not to think too much on the unfairness accompanied with all the church and god business. As for the monopoly god has on morality, well that is the biggest lie of all, morality and religion have nothing to do with each other. The
Debate Forums are foolish, but when I read anything about the lack of morality and atheism, well, I have to speak up. The crimes commited in the name of god should shame churches out of exhistance.
As for the 10%, I would guess that is the precentage of people who have given the time to really examine what they think and believe in. Just look around you, or look in the religious debate fourms. Many people act nothing like the way the bible instructs. The christian forum is filled with intolarent people who speak hatefully to each other. I guess it's fine to sin all week long, only to repent on sunday. That would be a much easier way to ease ones conscience. You are right, it is interesting.
