If my friend's wife filed for divorce and withdrew the papers(after he signed them) then filed again and withdrew these papers also(after he signed these too) would this divorce still become legal after a year from the date that he signed them even if she didn't sign either set of papers?????? This is a reply to # 267,229Divorce law is different for every state. You should probably check in your state. Your friend can probably call the clerk of the magistrate or Civil Court for the county he lives in and find out the status of the divorce there.
