My name is Ryan and I am starting the Master-Cleanse
tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to be giving my body a fresh start and just gaining a much more overall positive mindset after going through this experience. After reading the book and reading through many of the threads on this forum, I have a couple questions for some of you in the community that have more experience.
1. I read on this forum that the maple syrup of today is stripped of many of the minerals that were present back when Stanley burroughs first came up with this diet. As a result it was suggested to purchase liquid minerals to put inside the lemon drink. Is this a valid statement? Should I be worrying about my body receiving hte right amount of minerals/nutrients? If so, can you recommend a liquid mineral that I should ask for at my local health store? This is my biggest concern going into this diet.
2. I've also read that the cayenne pepper can be very difficult to take down with the drink. This doesn't surprise me, so if that is the case for me tomorrow when I wake up... can I start off with a smaller amount of pepper and work my way up to the right amount?
