During the pre-cleanse diet, eat
A bowl of fresh fruit of your choice--whatever is good and fresh--with some natural yogurt, no Sugar
or other additives, good culture
Salad--whatever vegetables are good and fresh. Romaine, spinach and other greens... carrots, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cucumber... whatever you like! Dress with a good extra virgin olive oil, flax oil etc. and fresh lemon juice. I cannot imagine why you could not add lightly cooked veggies to your salad! Sounds good!
Soup--cut up a bunch of potatoes, celery, onions, carrots... cover with pure water and simmer til just tender. I like to throw in a can of diced tomatoes, fresh garlic, frozen peas and fresh or frozen green beans... like a vegetarian Minestrone! A little Sea Salt
... yum! I like to add a sprinkle of cayenne just before eating.
Eat the fruit, salad and soup above. If you are very hungry, eat more soup or salad, or drink freshly made juices, or herb teas... and lots of water!
The improved swf works great! If you want, jump up and down after drinking all the salt and fresh water to mix (LOL)! Seriously, I have done swf MANY MANY times both ways, and notice no difference. And I find drinking one cup of salt SOOOO much easier than chugging a full quart!
