Since all cayenne products come in different strengths (heat units)it is difficult to give an exact answer. Look at the label on your bottle, to see the recommended dosage. For example, my bottle says 20-30 drops per day. Say I thought I would begin with a mid range dosage-24 drops a day. If I were to drink 8 servings of lemonade then I would need to use 3 drops per drink to make the 24 per day dosage. With my method I would use 12 drops morning and evening. (I use 15 drops now) You can always experiment with lowering or raising the amount to suit your tastes and needs. I think you might get a better effect from a couple of larger doses of tincture, but this is just my guess. I imagine a better method would be to use something like 10 drops morning and evening and two or three drops in the drinks throughout the day. If you are using a super hot cayenne that can bee 100,000 heat units are more make sure and start with a very small dose. Most tinctures I've seen in health food stores are more like 40,000-60,000 Standardized Heat Units.
