I came to the conclusion that candida overgrowth might be the cause of my issue. Maybe not the immediate direct cause but something that began to develop and worsen overtime.
These are my symptoms:
•
Seborrheic Dermatitis around my nose cheeks, and eyebrows.
•Certain foods also exacerbate the SD and Candida. The food trigger also affects my lips. I noticed that my lips are even drier and cracked whenever I consume processed/refined foods/dairy. The dermatitis can get very painful at times. I think birth control might have caused the overgrowth for me. I didn't start getting SD until after I got off the pill.
Realistically, it's not sustainable to cut out various kinds of food. It would cause too much weight loss and heavy food restrictions aren't healthy for childbearing women in their 20s. I tried the candida diet and while it did lessen the symptoms, it would never put it in deep remission.
It also would do nothing to treat the direct cause of whatever is causing the candida overgrowth. Doctors are also too egotistical and pompous to acknowledge Candida Overgrowth as a legitimate medical issue. The
Antibiotics actually worsen it from my experience.
Some people (on another platform) have mentioned that a tea of garlic, ginger, and tumeric (optional:pepper) helped tremendously for them. They said the only side effect is the "Die Off" reaction that you experience when you start drinking it. Apparently, it indicates it will get worse before it fully improves The medical term is "Herxheimer reaction" or something like that.
The people on this forum who claimed to "cure" theirs yet never go into specific detail are so full of shit. They intentionally withhold details because they have a crabs in a barrel mentality. These type of people exist all throughout adulthood. They hate to see other people succeed like them or better.
