Hello Everyone, I stumbled on this site probably just like everyone else; frustrated that my doc won't listen or help and yet I am SURE there is something moving in my scrotum. The doctors tell me it's impossible or even that if I did have an infection they can't see anything in the blood work and that I would not feel anything moving.

I awoke one night at 2am with extreme pain in my testicle and got up to turn on the lights... it then caused me to vomit and I passed out - I have never passed out in my life. I went to the hospital and they couldn't figure out why I was in pain. They ruled out torsion and did a CT saying they found a tiny kidney stone but that was unrelated. They did an ultrsound and said they saw epididymal cysts and a small fluid pocket (hydrocele). However a couple days later or so I went to have an ultrasound done at a urologists office and they didn't see a fluid pocket. They said they saw cysts and a variococele (hardened vein). It doesn't feel like that, it's like when I get ahold of whatever that is it tries to pull away, ugh. So it seems the only thing the two places could agree on were the cysts. I cannot get past the feeling of movement at the bottom of my testicle and occasional sharp pain but mostly just a constant ache.

The urologist said nothing should be at the bottom of the testicle but skin and that all veins go upward - she basically said I was imagining things and put me on Cipro for a month incase of bladdar infection and Ibuprofen for swelling. So far I've been on that for three weeks and nothing has changed. When I place an ice pack on the testicle I can feel something moving, almost like it's trying to move away and a sensation at the same time of something brushing past my rectum which is highly freaking me out. Then my skin can become slightly itchy - not sure if that's just from the ice making my skin contract or not. It's like my brain is telling me, dude you have something inside you - fix it. I'm so frustrated with the doctors for just shrugging me off.

I have tried an anti- parasite cleanse, taking the pills (Intestine Pro) three times a day with meals but I'm feeling like it's not going to reach something that's outside my gut. It's a shame that none of these docs will take me seriously. They just tell me I can't get parasites in my scrotum and that they don't migrate from the intestines so I must just be feeling my scrotum adjust for temperature. I am 37 and know what my body feels like, this is a very foreign feeling. Just this weekend started taking garlic and eating pumpkin seeds but I worry this won't reach the testicles. It's a terrifying feeling that any moment I could experience that pain again like something is bursting out of or biting into my testicle.

I have traveled to Iraq, Sweden, Slovakia, the Bahamas, and lived in FL - all tropical or endemic environments. I am to the point of trying to self-medicate but finding stuff online is hard because so many sites are scams. I saw on this site to look for vet oriented versions of Albendazole and Ivermectin - I found two liquid products but I don't want to mess up my liver and I don't know how long/often to do the treatment since I don't know what kind of parasite it is. It's got to be of the helminth family since I can feel it or possibly a fluke. I was under the impression that flukes were only caught if I swam in infected water and I haven't been in any kind of water that I can think of for many years other than a swimming pool. When I was a kid I used to go swimming in the lake but that was probably 25 years ago.

I found two products on ebay:

It just really freaks me out to take something intended for animals and not knowing how to administer it or for how long.

Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone tried these and if so was it effective? I reached out to a holistic doctor and we have a consult set up but I just feel that herbs will either only piss this thing off or drive them out of the gut and into other parts of the body. I'm so frustrated and worried. I wish I could find a doc that would just take the time to run some tests and work with me - their dismissal could cause me to take something that will harm my liver.
