Introduction
Is it the Fountain of Youth? We believe it is! Good health and long life . . . the possibilities are beyond exciting. As a matter of fact, we suspect that Oil of Life may be the most effective anti-aging and quality-of-life-enhancing agent imaginable.
Life extension is a fairly new
Science but the search for the Fountain of Youth is historical. Well, we believe we have found it in Oil of Life. What is it? Basically it is Carbon 60 (C60) dissolved in high-quality extra virgin olive oil. (C60 is also known as the Buckminster fullerene molecule or buckyball.)
Since 1993, the C60 molecule has been suspected of having multiple potential biological benefits. They include antiviral, antioxidant and anti-amyloid effects as well as UV and radiation protection, allergic response and angiogenesis inhibitions, immune-stimulating and anti-tumor effects; enhancement of neurite growth, gene delivery and possibly even hair growth.
Oil of Life is an anti-aging product that has staggering potential to significantly improve our quality of life and dramatically extend our life expectancy.
French Study (The Baati Study)
C60 in a solution of olive oil nearly doubled the lifespan of lab rats. How does C60 extend the lifespan of lab animals? Again, nobody knows for certain, but one plausible theory is that because the C60 is linked to the olive oil molecules, it is incorporated into the lipid layers of the various cell membranes, where it soaks up and neutralizes free-radicals. By greatly reducing the number of DNA-damaging and cell-damaging free-radicals, the cells and the organelles within the cells such as the mitochondria, are able to function more efficiently.
A study conducted at University of Paris in 2012 -- testing for chronic toxicity resulting from ingesting buckyballs dissolved in olive oil -- found that 10 month-old rats who ingested the human equivalent of a tenth of a gram of C60 buckyballs several times a week showed extended lifespans instead of toxic effects.
All C60-treated rats survived to at least 59 months, with the oldest surviving to 66 months. The control group lived for periods ranging from 17 months to 37 months, while an additional group fed only the extra olive oil lived for periods of 36 to 57 months.
All fullerenes are susceptible to clumping when dissolved in oil, so the preparation of the olive oil / C60 solution is rather lengthy. In these tests, 50 mg of C60 buckyballs were added to 10 ml of virgin olive oil. These were stirred for two weeks at ambient temperatures with no incident light. Following the stirring, the solutions were centrifuged at 5,000 g for an hour. The fluid was separated from the precipitate and was then passed through a 0.25 micron filter. The resulting liquid contained 0.8 mg/ml of C60 buckyballs.
The results beg the question . . . what is going on here? Is the life extension just for those lucky rats, or is there a mechanism that might transfer over to humans? The study was aimed at discovering if a diet of buckyballs has any toxic effects, and the good news is that no toxicity was found. The buckyballs did move throughout the body (including the brain and central nervous system), and even into individual cells. The ingested C60 had an elimination half-life from blood of about 10 hours so was essentially fully eliminated from the body within two days. It is not clear from the report if the C60 was eliminated from intracellular fluid on that time scale.
The study shows that over the course of 30 hours, the gastrointestinal tracts absorbed the dissolved buckyballs and released it from the body with no harm. Other researchers say that even though it is excreted from the body quickly, some long-lasting changes in organs and cells must have been created, such as strengthening DNA.
Specific studies of the effect of C60 buckyballs on oxidative stress in the rats were performed by studying the effects of carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) injection. Carbon tetrachloride is well known to be poisonous to rats, being highly hepatotoxic (toxic to the liver.) It is also associated with delirium and intoxication as is experienced in the abuse of solvents.
Rats which had been pre-treated by water, by olive oil and by olive oil containing C60 buckyballs all showed typical signs of intoxication within a few minutes of CCl4 injection. However, while intoxication persisted in the water and olive oil groups for 24 hours, the olive oil and C60 group emerged from intoxication after only five hours.
In rats experiencing the pretreatment, but unexposed to carbon tetrachloride, autopsy revealed essentially normal livers. In those given a CCl4 injection, however, the livers from rats pre-treated with water or olive oil showed important damage -- a great deal of inflammation as well as large necrotic areas (dying or dead tissue). In contrast, the livers from rats pre-treated with olive oil and C60 buckyballs showed little damage or CCl4-induced cell death. Biochemical markers of liver damage showed far less elevation in the rats pre-treated with olive oil and C60.
It does appear there is a real physiological effect on metabolic processes and that oxidative stress in particular is significantly reduced in rats by chronic oral ingestion of an olive oil / C60 solution. As oxidative stress is one of the factors usually associated with aging, there may well be a reasonable mechanism for the lifespan extension, especially if excess oxidation within individual cells is prevented by intracellular buckyballs.
Here is an excerpt on the study from the journal, Biomaterials, March 10, 2012.
The Prolongation of the Lifespan of Rats by Repeated Oral Administration of (60) Fullerene

Abstract
Countless studies showed that fullerene (C60) and derivatives could have many potential biomedical applications. However, while several independent research groups showed that C60 has no acute or sub-acute toxicity in various experimental models, more than 25 years after its discovery the in vivo fate and the chronic effects of this fullerene remain unknown. If the potential of C60 and derivatives in the biomedical field have to be fulfilled these issues must be addressed. Here we show that oral administration of C60 dissolved in olive oil (0.8 mg/ml) at reiterated doses (1.7 mg/kg of body weight) to rats not only does not entail chronic toxicity but it almost doubles their lifespan. The effects of C60 / olive oil solutions in an experimental model of CC14 intoxication in rats strongly suggest that the effect on lifespan is mainly due to the attenuation of age-associated increases in oxidative stress. Pharmacokinetic studies show that dissolved C60 is absorbed by the gastro-intestinal tract and eliminated in a few hours. These results of importance in the fields of medicine and toxicology should open the way for the many possible -- and awaited -- biomedical applications of C60 including cancer therapy, neurodegenerative disorders and aging.
Conclusion
The effect of pristine C60 on lifespan emphasizes the absence of chronic toxicity. These results obtained with a small sample of animals with an exploratory protocol ask for more extensive studies to optimize the intestinal absorption of C60 as well as the different parameters of the administration protocol: dose, posology and treatment duration. In the present case, the treatment was stopped when a control rat died at Ml 7, which proves that the effects of the C60 treatment are long-lasting as the estimated median lifespan for C60-treated rats is 42 months. It can be thought that a longer treatment could have generated even longer lifespans. Anyway, this work should open the road toward the development of the considerable potential of C60 in the biomedical field, including cancer therapy, neurodegenerative disorders and aging. Furthermore, in the field of aging, as C60 can be administered orally and as it is now produced in tons, it is no longer necessary to resort to its water-soluble derivatives which are difficult to purify and in contrast to pristine C60 may be toxic.
Published Information
Initially, after the French study there was a lot of excitement generated and many mainstream media reported on what is considered an “extraordinary breakthrough,” but like all those testimonials that had been posted, those articles have since been pulled from the Internet and very little is available except from various forums and one website. While this is not surprising, there also seems to be a focused effort to spread disinformation on any articles that remain in the “free” press. So, once again, this may be yet another attempt of Big Pharma and its allies to keep us disempowered. In fact, Big Pharma is said to be working to patent a water-soluble designer-fullerene (C60) and sell it at an extremely high price as a life-extension drug.
Because of the disinformation effort, be sure you are getting the real thing that is processed correctly that will give you healthy results.
Q&A
Q: I just started using Oil of Life. I am already seeing positive changes. My question is, I'm also taking some very high-quality (and high-priced) fish oil and krill oil, two separate supplements. I'm wondering if all my nutritional needs for oils would be covered by just the Oil of Life or if it is a good idea to continue with the fish and krill oils.
A: The Oil of Life is not a nutritional supplement. People taking it at least need Moringa and Organa Mineral Drink. With these, they are pretty much getting their basic nutritional needs met. D.
L.'s Response via Energetic (Kinesiology) Method . . .
The fish and krill oils have different purposes in the body. My kinesiology answer is that if there is a serious pathological condition, then these two oils cannot be stopped for some time. If the person is simply taking the Oil of Life for general well-being, then after approximately 3 months of use of the Oil of Life, these others could be slowly phased out. Obviously, the general diet would also play a contributing factor.
Q: Both my daughter and I have been taking Oil of Life; we're on our 2nd bottle. We do not feel any difference in our bodies as yet! How many people notice changes and how long does it take?
A: Several thoughts come to mind that I want to share with you and hopefully they will be helpful.
If you are in sound health and don't have particular issues, you may not notice any changes except subtle improvement in energy and sleep patterns. Please remember that the main thrust of Oil of Life is reduction in free radicals. Unless your free radical levels are such that they are beginning to create health issues, you may not notice very much. However, you must know that the very process of aging leads to an increase in free radicals that will eventually accelerate the aging process. When you significantly reduce the free radical load in your body, that does translate to longevity and healthy longevity.
It strikes me that both you and your daughter have accomplished a saturation of Oil of Life and can now reduce your intake to one teaspoon per day and can even regularly skip days. You will still maintain sufficient loading of the Carbon60 molecules to accomplish good health and longevity. As the scientific study with laboratory rats demonstrates, the Oil of Life does have substantial residual effects.
I will submit this response to our supplier to see if he would have additional comments or corrections.
Supplier: That's exactly how I would have explained it. Once the tissues are saturated, the long residual half-life suggests a daily usage reduction and skipping a day now and then is a reasonable approach. Some of the changes are so gradual it is unlikely the person taking the Oil would notice anything internally. The body becomes acclimated to the new normal. Other changes, such as reduction in age spots and wrinkles, I only noticed accidentally when I was putting together a photo album for my son.
Bottom line is these changes which appear to indicate true age-reversal are subtle for the most part and cumulative. If it took 50 or 60 years to reach whatever level of age-related appearance and internal health, or lack thereof, it's going to take some time to reverse the process.
Q: I got the olive oil and C60 (Oil of Life) today. When is the best time to take it? With food? Empty stomach?
A: It really doesn't seem to matter how or when you take the Oil of Life . . . morning or evening, with or without food. Either way, it seems to work for people. I might add that some people find it too stimulating to take it after mid-afternoon. It can cause sleep problems for them. At least in theory, you might get more benefit from taking it on an empty stomach, but I have not noticed that.
The best advice seems to be for you to just be observant and see how you are responding and use your response as a guide.
At first, you are striving to saturate your cells with the Oil, but at some point you can ease off. One sort of measure is to pay attention and you will probably notice your energy going up. However, at some point you may notice a drop-off in energy and that will be a clue that you can begin to ease off . . . perhaps even skipping a day every once in a while. D.
Q: Amid all the news lately about the adulterated olive oils coming out of Italy, I am curious if you could address this issue with the Oil of Life product again?
Have the barrels of olive oil been 3rd party lab-certified to contain only organic olive oil and no other lesser quality oils or pesticides in actuality? Is each batch-tested before being combined with the buckyballs?
A: The olive oil we use is certified organic and extra-virgin by international standards, and it comes directly from the olive plantation to the distributor in Houston, then shipped directly to our lab. There is absolutely no co-mingling of our oil with any other olive oil. Once received, we perform tests for taste, aroma, color and particulate matter. Ours is one of the few oils that is not co-mingled with other oils after processing, and that's why we use it. Oil of Life supplier

Oil of Life: My Personal Story
Allow me to introduce myself. I am the creator of Oil of Life. I want to share with you how this mixture of Carbon 60 and olive oil has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The story begins many years ago, when I was an impressionable kid in seventh grade and I read a book by Frank Herbert called Dune, (arguably one of the greatest
Science fiction stories ever written.) One of the key elements of the book was a fictional natural substance call mйlange, or more commonly, "spice." Spice had interesting properties . . . it increased mental awareness, it improved health and extended the human lifespan and in larger doses allowed one to see into the future.
On the one hand, these were just the wild ramblings of an unknown
Science fiction writer. On the other hand, we were in the middle of the grandest achievement mankind had ever undertaken -- space travel -- and landing a man on the moon. At that time we thought anything was possible . . . that in 40 years we would be vacationing under domed cities on the moon and Mars and our ships would be headed to the stars.
Things turned out differently. Instead, we got
Cell Phone s, debit cards and the Internet. (I would have preferred a domed city or two.)
Herbert and his crazy ideas . . . nothing like spice exists in the real world . . . or does it?
Frank Herbert was, after all, a trained desert biologist, as well as a writer. Where did he get these peculiar ideas about spice and its health and longevity-enhancing effects?
What I mean to say is, if you discard the sci-fi aspect of the fictional spice, is there perhaps a natural substance that might prolong life, improve one's health and protect or enhance one's mental abilities?
The question has been sleeping in the back of my mind ever since.
Subtly, without me fully realizing it, this question has prompted me over the years to acquire a degree in botany, work as an analytical chemist, continually study medicinal herbs and supplements, own and operate a health food store with thousands of different herbs, vitamins and other natural remedies and eventually start formulating my own dietary supplements.
Along the way I developed an idea that for many may seem futile or even ridiculous. The idea is simply that we may be on the cusp, the very edge, of being able to dramatically slow down -- or even reverse -- the aging process. True human
life-extension may be at our doorstep.
I now believe there is no may about it. Not only is the doorstep here, but some of us have already passed through the door and stepped into a much brighter future.
This journey began around Christmas of 2012. I had stopped by the office of a doctor friend of mine just to say hello and wish him a merry Christmas, and I witnessed something truly remarkable -- a Christmas miracle, if you will. My friend, who prefers to remain anonymous, is in charge of a very busy clinic, and as we sat in his office talking, every few minutes a nurse would pop in to alert the doctor about one crisis or another. All the while, the good doctor was taking calls and texts and conversing with me at the same time, as if we were sitting at a coffee shop somewhere without a care in the world.
After about 15 minutes of this I stopped the conversation and asked him, "What in the world? Are you taking something to allow you to handle this level of stress? My head would explode if I were trying to do everything you're doing!"
He laughed and said, "It's the C60 olive oil mixture I'm taking. It's hard to explain, but it seems to help the body deal with stress of any sort. Very intriguing."
I'll say . . . intriguing indeed.
He and I had talked about the stuff over the previous few months as we share a mutual interest in human life extension, and this was an odd thing that had popped onto our radar screens back in March 2012. An article in the journal Biomaterials had come out discussing the results of a 5-year study on Carbon60 and olive oil, and it had longevity researchers pretty excited. Turns out a study was done where rats were given a mixture of carbon 60 and olive oil to determine the toxicity of the C60. Many scientists have worked with C60 Buckminster fullerenes or "Bucky Balls") since the substance was discovered about 20 years ago, and they were concerned that it might be toxic.
Well, they found out otherwise. Not only was olive oil plus C60 not toxic, it actually almost doubled the lifespan of the treated rats AND it protected their livers against other toxins the rats were given. Finally after almost 60 months, the last two rats were euthanized in order to end the study. They refused to die otherwise, and these rats were from a strain of lab-rat bred to live only 36 months on average.
In the ensuing months some adventuresome souls had begun to take C60 + olive oil themselves just to see what they might experience. People on the longevity forums began to report things like accelerated healing, increased resistance to stress, greater capacity to exercise and, in general, just feeling better. That was interesting, but there are quite a few herbs and supplements that can do things like boost testosterone or increase cellular energy production that will make you feel better. What really got the doctor's and my attention was when people began to report visible signs of age reversal. Things like disappearance of wrinkles and age spots or darkening and thickening of gray hair.
Never -- and I mean NEVER -- had any "anti-aging" herb, vitamin or any other supplement shown such indisputable results.
That very day I had visited my doctor friend, I went back to my lab where I formulate supplements and got to work on my first batch of what I have come to call Oil of Life. The process took several weeks to complete and when it was done, I took a teaspoon before bed and drifted off to sleep. Nothing seemed different the next day. I took a teaspoon a day for over a week with the same result. Then one night I said "What the heck?" and I took three teaspoons-full.
Wow!
This is a bit embarrassing, but I woke up in the middle of the night with a raging you-know-what, which for my 56 year-old body is unusual to say the least. Then next day my energy levels were off the charts. I felt 10 years younger. I write quite a bit, and the words flowed like water that day.
I consulted with my doctor friend and others who were also experimenting with C60 / olive oil and many of them have reported similar experiences. It's as if some saturation point must be reached before one begins to really notice anything. Some report increased energy while others notice the disappearance of nagging injuries or perhaps they add a lot more weight at the gym, but only after tissue saturation has occurred.
So a couple of weeks passed and I got used to the "new normal" of increased energy levels and more youthful libido. Then came my next big surprise.
For two years I had struggled with bursitis, first in one shoulder, then the other. I had been an avid swimmer but had been unable to swim properly for two years. One day I went to bed and woke up with no pain in either shoulder. The joints were still stiff from limited use, but the pain was gone! I have since resumed my swimming, and as a result, my health has improved even more.
Then another surprise: I was driving along one day back in March and noticed some crumbly material in my mouth. I spit it out, and it appeared to be tartar from my teeth. When I got back to the lab I looked at it under a microscope and indeed it was tartar that had spontaneously fallen off the inside of my lower front teeth. More pieces came off, and by the end of the day my teeth were clean as if I had been to the dentist for a good scraping. I have no explanation for this. Just reporting what happened.
Now things really began to get interesting. For many years I have suffered from
food allergies , especially to wheat gluten. Nothing life-threatening, just that I would get mouth ulcers whenever I ate wheat bread or had a beer or even a saltine cracker. One day I was out at a friend's ranch doing some prospecting for gold (a hobby of mine) and the rancher handed me a beer when we got back to the ranch house. I felt it would have been rude to refuse it so I drank it, knowing I would pay for it the next day. The next day I woke up expecting to feel one or two canker sores developing and . . . nothing. Praise the Great Brewmaster in the Sky, I could drink beer again, have a sandwich on normal bread or a bowl of spaghetti now and then and don't suffer for it.
By now I had been taking my Oil of Life for three months and thought, "Well, this is it, this is what it feels like to grow younger." I must say it felt good, but I was premature in thinking I had seen it all.
My son (who recently turned 18) and I go to the gym fairly regularly, and at his age all he does is LOOK at a weight and he gets stronger. I struggle along just to maintain my strength and probably haven't gained a pound of muscle in 5 years. Until now. It is the end of August and I have been taking Oil of Life for 8 months now. My average strength increase is about 25% over what I was doing last December. I'm gaining strength slowly but steadily, instead of growing steadily weaker year by year. It's a good feeling.
The latest thing that has happened, which quite frankly came as a shock, was when I was putting together a photo album for my son's birthday back in May. I was sorting through 18 years of photos of him and me together as he grew up. I ran across a Christmas picture of us from 2011. I noticed I had a large distinct age spot on my right cheek, another on the bridge of my nose and several smaller ones on my forehead. The hair stood up on the back of my neck as I walked to the bathroom to look in the mirror. Sure enough, the age spots were GONE. The big one on my cheek, which I had for several years, was gone entirely, as were the smaller ones on my forehead. The one on the bridge of my nose had faded considerably. My hands shook with excitement. I'm no doctor, but I know enough about human aging to know that seeing results like this are nothing short of miraculous. This is REAL, honest-to-God age reversal. This what Ponce de Leon searched for, in vain. This is our Fountain of Youth. Tiny balls of carbon mixed with olive oil . . . who would have thought?
Over the past few months I have given away quite a few bottles of Oil of Life to friends and family, in part to just help them and in part to hear and see what they experience.
First of all, nobody has reported any negative effects. Some have said they haven't really noticed anything, while others are ecstatic about the positive effects. One woman in particular has reported re-mineralization of teeth cavities and, like me, the disappearance of age spots and fading of wrinkles. Most everybody reports increased energy levels and increases in a general sense of well-being.
The most incontrovertible reports though involve the old dogs and cats. Many people have reported their old dog or cat becoming more energetic as a result of Oil of Life. In my own case, we are giving it to my son's 14 year-old Lab, and now he's acting like he's 10 years-old again. I had one person report that their dog, who could no longer get up off his bed without help, was now running around the yard on his own, apparently pain-free for the first time in years. Their vet had recommended euthanasia. Another lady, who now sells Oil of Life at her health food store, first gave it to her 20 year-old cat and swears it brought the cat back from the edge of death. It goes without saying this is no placebo effect, since it's working this magic on our animal friends as well as their humans.
My friends and customers ask me, "What are the downside risks? What are the reported negative effects, if any?" My answer is this: According to all the research we have seen with Carbon 60 in olive oil, there is no measurable toxicity. Now does that mean nobody will ever experience some unforeseen negative effect? No, of course not. This is something totally new, although the mineral shungite, which has a large percentage of C60 in it, has been used to promote health for centuries in Russia.
There are only two warnings, which we note on the label, if you are allergic to olives or olive oil, do not take Oil of Life. Also, since the natural antioxidants called polyphenols, found in olive oil are known to thin the blood, do not take Oil of Life, or any olive oil for that matter, if you are taking Coumadin, Warfarin or any other blood-thinning medication.
As the developer of Oil of Life I invite you to join me in this journey into what promises to be a very different future . . . a future full of energy and health instead of the downhill slide we all expect as we grow older.
May We All Live Long and Prosper.

Notes on Oil of Life Usage by its Creator
A common question people are asking about Oil of Life is, "What is the optimum amount to ingest per day?" This is a good question with a rather complex answer. The place to begin is with what we know. We know that a study was published in the March 2012 issue of Biomaterials (referred to as the Baati Study) which examined the results of administering Carbon 60 (C60) dissolved in olive oil to a group of rats for the purpose of determining the toxicity of C60.
These and other researchers had been working with C60 for many years, and they were concerned about potential toxicity. Much to everyone's surprise, there was no toxicity evident whatsoever. Quite the contrary; the lifespan of the treated rats almost doubled, and two of the rats were eventually euthanized after almost five years in order to bring the study to an end.
Shortly after the study was published, some adventuresome souls, yours truly included, began to experiment with C60 and olive oil to see what the effects might be, if any. In the article above, I detailed some of my own experiences with what we now call the Oil of Life and so far, things look very promising.
The question we all had at the beginning was, "What is the optimum usage for an average 150 pound . . . ahem, 'rat'?"
All we had to go on was the regimen given to the much smaller rats in the Baati study. Their usage protocol was as follows:
1.7 mg C60 in olive oil per 1 kilogram of body weight given daily for 1 week, then weekly until the end of the second month, and then every 2 weeks until the end of the 7th month.
So, essentially, the rats only received the C60 / olive oil for 7 months out of their entire lifetimes of 48 months or longer. Ponder that for a moment.
What we don't know is how much longer the rats would have lived if they had been given the oil for a longer period or more frequently. We don't know if the amount they were given was optimum or not. How can one even determine that? All we can do is proceed, based on the observation that the rats consuming C60 at a rate of approximately 1.7 mg/Kg of body weight lived much, much longer than normal and appeared to suffer no ill effects. In fact, none of these rats developed cancer, as this strain is prone to do. (Just another observation to ponder.)
So all one can do is take an educated guess by adjusting the 1.7 mg amount upward for an animal weighing an average of 150
pounds or about 68 Kg. (The formula is not linear. The calculation is 1.7 mg/Kg x 6/57.) The result is roughly 12 mg of C60 in olive oil per application for a 150-pound animal.
Now considering the maximum concentration of C60 in olive oil is 0.8 mg per ml and there are 5 mls per teaspoon, this works out to be 3 teaspoons per application. Since the rats were not treated every day, but rather infrequently, it seems reasonable to adjust the daily application down to one teaspoon per day, if one chooses to take it on a daily basis. You may want to skip a day here and there or shift the amount around just to see what works for you. Personally I take it most days and skip a couple days a week, and I take 2 or 3 teaspoons per day usually.
Please pardon all the ifs and seems and fuzzy calculations here. Fact is we are in Unknown Country . . . the Unexplored Future. We don't know all the answers. Heck, we don't even know all the questions. What we are attempting to do is significantly prolong our lives and improve our health with a naturally-occurring, apparently-benign substance that shows tremendous promise. After all, C60 is simply carbon. Nothing more, nothing less. Carbon can exist as diamond or graphite or amorphous carbon, or as we now know, as spheres of 60 carbon atoms. C60 has been detected in all manner of natural substances such as molasses, meteorites, trees burned by lightning, the mineral shungite and even some mineral springs in Russia. It is reasonable to assume that in and of itself, C60 is pretty safe, as it is simply another form of carbon found in Nature. Our bodies are composed chiefly of carbon. It is the stuff of life, and all life on this planet is based on it. Hence the name, Oil of Life.
Some have asked about the quality of the olive oil we use. The oil we use is Organic
Extra-Virgin that is as pure as one can get. Many, if not most, olive oils you find in the grocery store are blends from many different countries, and many questionable things can happen in the blending, storage and shipping of these common olive oils. Our olive oil though is produced by one company from one very large plantation and is shipped directly in stainless steel drums to their dedicated distributor here in the US. It is then shipped to our lab with no break in the chain of custody. This unbroken chain assures us of the highest-quality olive oil possible.
Others have asked if we can produce a C60 oil product using another type of oil. It is possible to do so as C60 will dissolve in many different oils. However, we are limiting our production to olive oil for three reasons. One is that the Baati study used olive oil, and we know the results indicate the C60 / olive oil combination is safe. We cannot definitively say that about any other C60 / oil combination. The other reasons are that olive oil is well tolerated by almost all people with thousands of years of historical usage, AND the polyphenol antioxidants occurring naturally in olive oil are very beneficial even without the C60. Perhaps we are being overly cautious here, but the odds of adding a significant number of years to one's life increase as risk decreases.
One final note, and this also involves risk versus reward. I have taken a personal risk in bringing Oil of Life to market and the good folks at Global Light have taken on the risk as well. This is not a cheap product to make or distribute. We are the first to make C60 / olive oil widely available to the public, and we do so because we sincerely believe people will benefit from it. Based on everything we have read and our personal experiences, we believe Oil of Life to be safe for nearly everyone (except those who are allergic to olives and perhaps those taking blood-thinning medicine, as olive oil by itself will thin the blood, as we note on the bottle).
Thank you for placing your trust in us and joining us on this remarkable journey. Please let us know how you like Oil of Life and what you've noticed in terms of health improvement. Your input will help us chart a course forward into what promises to be a bright future.

As a staple of the Mediterranean diet, the health benefits of olive oil are extensive with positive attributes being discovered all the time. In addition to bolstering the immune system and helping to protect against viruses, olive oil has also been found to be effective in fighting against diseases such as cancer, heart disease, oxidative stress, diabetes, obesity,
Rheumatoid Arthritis and osteoporosis. It is also thought to help prevent strokes, reduce the risks of type-2 diabetes, protect from metabolic syndrome (a combination of abdominal obesity, high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol and high blood sugar.) Olive oil is believed to also protect against
Depression and prevent skin cancer.
The Other Component: Carbon 60
The other ingredient is Carbon 60 (C60), a naturally-occurring, pure elemental carbon containing 60 carbon atoms arranged in a sphere resembling a soccer ball. This configuration is what is known as a stable allotrope of carbon. Carbon 60 is famously known as the buckyball (named after Buckminster Fuller).
Carbon can exist as a single atom or as multiple atoms in stable configurations.
One example is graphite, where the carbon atoms are arranged in flat sheets. Another example is diamond, where the carbon atoms are arranged in a rigid pyramidal lattice.
The third stable configuration is in a sphere with 60 carbon atoms. In scientific terms, C60 is a "fullerene" molecule. C60 is stable, found in Nature in the mineral called shungite, is non-toxic and has some astonishing properties.
Shungite itself is known to have healing properties. Its healing powers come from one of its elements, fullerenes -- a globular hollow molecule consisting of several dozens of carbon atoms. When fullerenes, a special molecular formation, were discovered in shungite a few decades ago, it became a sensation.
Fullerenes in our body behave as the most powerful and long-acting antioxidant. Today, doctors have great hopes for fullerenes; they have been used in Russian alternative medicine for hundreds of years.
Buckyball or C60 Fullerene
“The first fullerene molecule to be discovered, and the family's namesake, buckminsterfullerene (C60), was prepared in 1985 by Richard Smalley, Robert Curl, James Heath, Sean O'Brien, and Harold Kroto at Rice University. The name was homage to Buckminster Fuller, whose geodesic domes it resembles. The structure was also identified some five years earlier by Sumio Iijima, from an electron microscope image, where it formed the core of a ‘bucky onion.’ Fullerenes have since been found to occur in Nature. More recently, fullerenes have been detected in outer space. According to astronomer Letizia Stanghellini, ‘It’s possible that buckyballs from outer space provided seeds for life on Earth.’
The discovery of fullerenes greatly expanded the number of known carbon allotropes, which until recently were limited to graphite, diamond and amorphous carbon such as soot and charcoal. Buckyballs and bucky tubes have been the subject of intense research, both for their unique chemistry and for their technological applications, especially in materials science, electronics and nanotechnology.” –Wikipedia
C60 is said to be 271 times more powerful an antioxidant than Vitamin C, and it preserves salmon twice as long as Vitamin E. You quantum mechanics students will like this. C60 behaves both as a wave and a particle. See WaveParticle Duality of C60: (http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v401/n6754/abs/401680a0.html)
The Buckyball Molecule is an Electron Reservoir
We’ve all heard about the deleterious effects upon our body of free radicals. Many of our products offer antioxidant benefits to neutralize their effects. Free radicals are molecules that have one (or more) electrons too few or too many, and they will damage any biological molecule in which they come in contact. The Buckminster fullerene C60 molecule can accept several electrons in case of a free radical with an electron surplus, and donate several electrons in case of a free radical with an electron deficit. C60 thus is an incredibly effective antioxidant, not in the least because it does not get degraded or unstable by accepting or donating electrons.
The C60-olive oil molecule is incorporated into the phospholipid layers of the cell membranes and the membranes of the mitochondria within the cell, where energy is produced. Hence the cells and mitochondria get an integrated nano-scale antioxidant system implanted into their cell walls. This is totally unique. No antioxidant supplement can be re-used indefinitely. No antioxidant supplement can both accept and donate electrons, let alone multiple electrons. No antioxidant supplement sits for weeks in the lipid bi-layers, exactly where it is needed the most, except C60 which can do all these things.
One way C60 functions as an antioxidant, is to neutralize reactive oxygen species (ROS) by accepting an electron from them. The unique aspect of C60 is that accepting an electron does not alter the structure of the C60 molecule, effectively infinitely recycling it. C60 can accept or donate many electrons (it works as an electron reservoir), so it is an incredibly powerful antioxidant in the cell walls (270 times better than Vitamin C -- even disregarding the recycling effect), constantly neutralizing damaging free radicals that reach the cells or mitochondria.
Studies’ Findings
While other studies have been conducted, here are the findings that we have accessed so far:
- C60 in olive oil extended the lifespan of rats with no toxicity and no tumors or pneumonia toward the end of life.
- C60 protected the liver of rats when they were given a known toxin that would normally destroy the organ.
- Mice acquired extremely-improved ability for learning and enhanced memory. Very aged mice performed as well as 6 month-old mice.
- Mice with familial ALS lived longer when ingesting a water-soluble derivative of C60.
- C60 protected mice against gamma radiation. It has the ability to improve a damaged immune system and the cells’ mitochondrial function.
- C60 offers several cardiovascular benefits.
Word about Animal Studies
We aren’t big fans of animal testing. Rats are often used in lab tests because what affects a rat is likely to affect a human in a similar way. Rats require similar nutrients to us and even suffer from the same old-age effects as humans such as oxidative stress, glycation and telomere shortening.
Health Benefits of Oil of Life in Humans
The famous rat study showed that C60 nearly doubles rat's lives, perhaps by simply preventing them from getting cancer or infectious diseases, but a different mice study has shown that something more is going on: Old mouse brains get rejuvenated when the mice take Carbon 60 (buckyballs). They suddenly perform as well as the brains of three month-old mice, when remembering the layout of a maze and learning to navigate it. So there may be some subtle noticeable effects on the human organism, and we cannot (yet) dismiss reports of certain beneficial effects as placebo.
People taking buckyballs in olive oil on an Internet forum have reported the following beneficial effects. These are similar to what we have experienced as well.
- More energy
- Less sleep needed
- Mental clarity
- More strength and stamina in weight lifting
(People were adamant that there was a great difference, comparable to taking creatine and that not even anabolic steroids enabled such an immediate increase of both repetitions and maximum weight.)
- Calmer, reduction in stress
- More stamina, endurance and higher speed when running with better utilization of oxygen.
- Higher libido
Have you tried Oil of Life yet? You may not notice a discernible difference for a while, but you may live longer with fewer health issues. Both the C60 and the olive oil contain high levels of antioxidants, one of the major causes of the degenerative effects of aging.
How Does C60 Extend Life?
No one has a definitive explanation as to how C60 works or that the longevity effect even comes from the high antioxidant qualities of C60, but Dr. Fathi Moussa, the leader of the French study, has stated that his guess is that C60 is unique in that it can go deep into the cells and cell walls: “It’s a very lipophilic molecule and it penetrates into places that other natural antioxidants don’t go. C60 can access a cellular or sub-cellular structure that other antioxidants can’t access. If the other antioxidants don’t work well, it’s because they are not as well distributed in the organism like C60.”

The major theories on lipofullerenes’ anti-aging effects:
(1) C60 remains in the lipid bi-layers of the cells and mitochondria, doing its ROS-neutralizing work for weeks or months.
Lipofullerenes could act as super-antioxidants on the cellular level, where they remain for a very long time, since they are not “used up” when they act as antioxidants, and they are constantly recycled in the cell.
(2) The C60 physically rejuvenates organisms on the cellular level, for example, by DNA demethylation or by otherwise reversing cellular damage on the molecular level.
Interestingly, the size of the buckyball C60 molecule is such that it fits exactly inside the “minor groove” DNA winding and it indeed binds to it, protecting it against methyl groups that degrade and neutralize the DNA.
Here are some postulations made in an online forum on how C60 may extend healthy life:
- Attenuation of age-associated increases in oxidative stress.
- I’m wondering if the fullerene might not be the active longevity ingredient. Maybe it’s just the transport. And dissolving it in olive oil also allows some olive oil molecules to penetrate the fullerene sphere and get transported to places by the fullerene that orally ingested olive oil wouldn’t make it to. Like deep into many cells throughout the body -- even those across the blood brain barrier. If that’s right, all the longevity effects observed are just an amplification of the effects of the olive oil.
- It is a catalytic radical scavenger -- i.e., it is able to recycle and repeat its activity over and over. It accumulates in mitochondria. It has antiviral action. C60 has anti-cancer properties. Possibly, as with methylene blue, there might be a hormetic affect -- with low dosages having a positive effect and higher doses a deleterious one.
- Maybe enhancing neurite growth sufficiently enhances feedback signaling in the body and that is what results in an enhanced immune response.
- Since the mechanism of action is still unknown, we have no idea if the buckyballs are destroyed in the process of performing whatever function they are performing. Maybe they somehow bust up AGEs and are destroyed in the process. Maybe they settle in and become a conduit for some bio photonic reaction.
- We do know fullerene passes the blood brain barrier and has neuro protective effects.”
- C60 is a catalyst. It is not used up in the process of its action.
- C60 is able to associate with mitochondria and induce a cytoprotective antioxidant effect.
- C60 might be resetting the mitochondria to a younger age.
- Here’s a sketchy hypotheses of how C60 might work:
Fullerenes wrapped in oil are transported to mitochondria for burning. Once there, the oil is stripped and the naked fullerenes are attracted to other hydrophobic molecules, such as the methyl groups on the mitochondrial DNA, and reacts with them, stripping them from the DNA. Demethylation of the DNA thus reverses the epigenetic DNA changes that result in dysfunction of the mitochondria.
- There’s been some mention of mitochondrial biogenesis in this thread. Is this something that fullerenes are known to do? Mitochondrial biogenesis means the creation of new mitochondria.
- Fullerenes are known to like methyl groups, and that they could steal them from DNA would certainly provide a tidy explanation of how this works.
- Fullerenes might exist in a longer-lived reservoir, like in the membrane of a long-lived somatic cell.
- My hypothesis is that fullerenes wipe out the methylation, the DNA automatically recovers it, and the effective age is set to zero. The DNA will begin to age again, and a later treatment can reset it back to zero. Keep resetting every few years and the ultimate limit then passes to the telomeres and epigenetics of the nuclear DNA.
- It’s very clear that C60 has mitochondrial activities; for example, animals treated with C60 are more resistant to radiation effects and are far more resistant to the oxidative damage from carbon tetrachloride ingestion. That isn’t just a reset to a youthful state, because youthful animals would be injured by both radiation and CCl4.
-
Olive-Oil is a 5-LO inhibitor. 5-LO inhibition reduces ROS, independent of P53. I cannot escape the conclusion that the choice of the olive oil solvent, per se, cannot be dismissed as being unimportant to the buckyball study conclusion.
-Hypothesis: Because of its hydrophobic propensity, C60 incorporates itself into cell membranes, thereby presenting the adducted olive oil which disrupts the signaling pathways of arachidonic acid in the phospholipids therein while also sopping up superoxide everywhere the C60 finds it . . . nice “one-two.” How / why does the C60 pass through the cytosol into the mitochondrial membranes? Wouldn’t it want to stay in the cell membrane? Is it hunted through the cell membrane by a channel protein or an inner membrane channel protein? Is there a charge gradient involved? Is it just possible that because it behaves like a wave also, it makes for the mitochondria and leaves the olive oil in the cell membrane?
- Harman, in a 2001 paper, posits that fullerenes may work in the mitochondria as a blocking agent. Many antioxidants at therapeutic doses actually decrease the efficiency of the mitochondria, which is why possibly we do not see increases in the maximum lifespan. If fullerene is indeed a blocking agent, then it acts by stopping oxygen from generating reactive oxygen species and superoxide formation, while having no negative impact on mitochondrial functionality. Other studies posit it is a superoxide dismutase mimetic.
- Drugs, diet or exercise are all capable of changing gene expression; for example, resveratrol alters the expression level on the order of 1,000 genes. It’s very likely that fullerenes change the expression level of numerous genes as well. For the vast majority of these genes, the changes in expression are transient, and when the drug is withdrawn, expression returns to normal. In some cases, however, there are apparently long-lasting changes put in place by CpG (de)methylation, histone (de)acetylation, etc. These are epigenetic modifications.
- . . . the fullerene solvent served as the means for “guiding” the fullerenes to the “cell type” that the solvent has a natural affinity for, to the appropriate “receptor” of that cell type.
- C60 is thought to be a “SOD Mimetic”, SOD is an enzyme that clears out the destructive superoxide ROS in your cells.
- I suspect that the C60 that finds its way into non-mitochondrial membranes isn’t hurting anything and may be helping some, but the fraction that gets into mitochondrial membranes is what’s doing the magic, because it’s close to the source of damaging superoxide ions.
- I wouldn’t say that we don’t have a clue how this works. I’d say there are some hints. We know it’s redox active, and that fullerene carboxylic acid compounds can act as SOD mimetics, turning superoxide radical anion into oxygen and H2O2. We know that superoxide is generated in mitochondria, and it’s at least reasonable to suspect that a fullerene fatty acid adduct could become part of the mitochondrial membrane.
- I don’t think it is a stretch to assume that the positive effects of C60, if any, are tied to its relative inertness.
- That it is the olive oil combination with C60s that extended lifespans in the surprising way it did suggests that our innate immune system-driven CAIP is implicated in some way in the study result.
- Are setting of the mitochondrial DNA in the gut related to our innate
anti-inflammatory mechanisms resets our ability to manage the auto-immune diseases (like cancer) which, increasingly, knock us off as we age.
Safety of C60
Professor Moussa has concluded (after 18 years of study) that C60 (Buckminsterfullerene) is totally non-toxic. Also, a comprehensive and recent review on fullerene toxicity is given by Kolosnjaj etal. (2007).* These authors review the works on fullerene toxicity beginning in the early 1990s to present, and conclude that very little evidence gathered since the discovery of fullerenes to indicate that C60 is toxic.

Buckyballs and DNA
Buckminster fullerene (C60) has received great research interest due to its extraordinary properties and increasing applications in manufacturing industry and biomedical technology.
We recently reported C60 could enter bacterial cells and bind to DNA molecules. This study was to further determine how the DNA-C60 binding affected the thermal stability and enzymatic digestion of DNA molecules and DNA mutations. Nano-C60 aggregates and water-soluble fullerenols were synthesized and their impact on DNA biochemical and microbial activity was investigated.
Our results revealed that water-soluble fullerenols could bind to lambda DNA and improve DNA stability remarkably against thermal degradation at 70-85 °C in a dose-dependent manner. DNase I and HindIII restriction endonuclease activities were inhibited after interacting with fullerenols at a high dose.
Experimental results also showed the different influence of fullerenol and nano-C60 on their antibacterial mechanisms, where fullerenols contributed considerable impact on cell damage and mutation rate. This preliminary study indicated that the application of fullerenols results in significant changes in the physical structures and biochemical functions of DNA molecules. - American Chemical Society (http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/es2012319)
Oil of Life: A Super Antioxidant
Free radicals appear to play a central role in virtually every disease you can name, either directly or secondarily. Which disease develops depends on the site of the free radical attack. - Russell A. Blaylock, M.D.
There are a lot of issues that my colleagues in anti-aging medicine disagree on, but there's one that has near unanimous agreement: damage from free radicals is at the heart of aging. -Robert C. Atkins, M.D.
There is now overwhelming scientific evidence demonstrating that people who eat a diet rich in antioxidants and take antioxidant supplements will live longer, healthier lives. - Dr. Lester Packer, PhD.
Aging
Aging is believed to be an irreversible phenomenon for all living organisms, although cutting-edge science is at variance with this belief.
As we age, our cells divide but are not replaced or the process slows down. Cellular death, mutation or damage is in part caused by free radicals which our body constantly produces. Another major cause is nutritional deficiency.
Free radicals are atoms or groups of atoms with an odd (unpaired) number of electrons and can be formed when oxygen interacts with certain molecules. Once formed, these highly-reactive radicals can start a chain reaction, like dominoes. Their chief danger comes from the damage they can do when they react with important cellular components such as DNA or the cell membrane. Cells may function poorly or die if this occurs.
This process eventually results in age-related degenerative disease such as cancer, heart disease, brain damage and Alzheimer's. Antioxidants can protect from these degenerative diseases due to their anti-inflammatory effect. Antioxidants also have the potential to lower blood pressure and reduce development of atherosclerosis. Antioxidant-rich foods are also suggested for diabetic patients to help relieve the oxidative stress caused by increased free-radicals synthesis.
What Are Antioxidants?
Antioxidants are molecules which can safely interact with free radicals and terminate the chain reaction before vital molecules are damaged. Although there are several enzyme systems within the body that scavenge free radicals, the principle micronutrient antioxidants are vitamins C and E and beta carotene. Sometimes included in this category is selenium, a trace mineral required for proper function of one of the body's antioxidant enzyme systems.
Does Your Food Provide Enough Antioxidants?
Okay, this information sounds good; however, most food does not supply enough nutrients to provide the body protection against free radicals. Most food these days is simply nutrient-deficient. Perhaps if you eat only organic food that's grown in mineral-enriched soil, you might get enough antioxidants for your needs. Maybe.
Oil of Life May Be a Super Antioxidant
In learning more about our new product, Oil of Life, we are finding claims that the C60 in olive oil is believed to contain several hundred times the antioxidant value of vitamin C. Another scientist claims that this formulation contains at least 100 times the antioxidant of vitamin E. Although we don't have proof of this, these claims would certainly account for the results of the animal study referenced on this page. (Update: it has been acknowledged that C60 is 172 times an effective antioxidant as Vitamin C.)
The Antioxidant Properties of Olive Oil
We also know that olive oil provides antioxidant action as well. Polyphenols are one type of numerous health-protective antioxidants that are found in extra virgin olive oil. Like other antioxidants, polyphenols fight oxidative stress and may fight against aging-related diseases like heart disease, high blood pressure, cholesterol and certain types of cancer.
In addition to the anti-aging properties of polyphenols, they also contain strong
anti-inflammatory properties. A recent study showed that extra virgin olive oil contains a certain phenol compound called oleocanthal which acts similar to ibuprofen in the body. This shows the potential for olive oil's ability to help reduce the risk of strokes, as explored in an article on WebMD.
It's thought that two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil a day is enough to provide these anti-inflammatory benefits. There are several factors that contribute to how many polyphenols are present in any given olive oil. Earlier harvest olives (unripe) typically contain more polyphenols than late harvest (ripe) olives. The older an oil becomes and the longer it sits in storage, the less polyphenols will be present due to oxidation. And above all else, the quality of the oil itself matters: The more an oil is refined, the fewer phenols it will contain.
Of course, the important thing to remember is to buy certified extra-virgin olive oil, that which has been produced from high-quality olives and has not been refined.
Oil of Life is the Solution to Oxidative Stress
On the federal government's site for peer-reviewed medical studies (http://pubmed.gov), searching the term "oxidative stress" will yield 114,294 studies.
Oxidative stress is involved in virtually all chronic degenerative conditions -- heart disease, cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes, arthritis, psoriasis, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and many more.
Oxidative stress is undesirable but unavoidable. It can cause cellular dysfunction leading to disease and simply facilitates the aging process! Aging is, in fact, a slow progression of oxidative stress, the main biochemical characteristic of aging.
It begins with the food we eat to give us energy. Our body produces energy and the burning of the food produces wastes that are toxic and produce free radicals.
The body fights back by producing enzymes that destroy free radicals. When we reach about 20 years of age, our body is at its peak of vitality and starts to decline in the production of protective antioxidant enzymes.
Oil of Life provides your body with the ability to neutralize free radicals as if you were much younger! While you won't notice this process happening, you will most likely experience an enhanced quality of health and a longer life. You may even begin to look and feel younger!
Carbon C60 is a Powerful Antioxidant
We have already written about the high polyphenol content of olive oil. Polyphenols serve as antioxidants. It has been hinted that carbon 60 (Buckminster fullerenes), the second component of Oil of Life, also provide antioxidant action within the body, and apparently this fact is long known and confirmed in a number of studies.
From (2007) Medicinal applications of fullerenes: "Results published in 1999 have shown that fullerenes have a potential as biological antioxidants. The antioxidant property is based on the fact that fullerenes possess a large amount of conjugated double bonds and low lying lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) which can easily take up an electron, making an attack of radicals species highly possible. It has been reported that up to 34 methyl radicals have been added onto a single C60 molecule. This quenching process appears to be catalytic.
In other words the fullerene can react with many superoxides without being consumed. Due to this feature fullerenes are considered to be the world's most efficient radical scavenger and are described as radical sponges (Krusic et al 1991). The major advantage of using fullerenes as a medical antioxidant is their ability to localize within the cell to mitochondria and other cell compartment sites, where in diseased states, the production of free radicals takes place. Experiments on rats done by Najla Gharbi and coworkers proved this remarkable trait. They showed that aqueous C60 suspensions prepared without using any polar organic solvent, not only have no acute or sub-acute toxicity in rodents, but also protect their livers against free-radical damage (Gharbi et al 2005)."
The 2005 publication (60) fullerene is a powerful antioxidant in vivo with no acute or subacute toxicity confirms both this and another point made in the recent rat study: C60 does not engender toxicity in rodents. "In the present work, we report the effects of C60 pre-treatments on acute carbon tetrachloride intoxication in rats, a classical model for studying free-radical-mediated liver injury. Our results show that aqueous C60 suspensions prepared without using any polar organic solvent not only have no acute or subacute toxicity in rodents but they also protect their livers in a
dose-dependent manner against free-radical damage. To be sure, according to histopathological examinations and biological tests, pristine C60 can be considered as a powerful liver-protective agent."
The 2011 report Antioxidant activity of fullerene C60 against OH free radicals: A Quantum Chemistry and Computational Kinetics Study reports "Fullerenes are considered to be the world's most efficient radical scavenger, and represents an attractive tool for biological applications. Indeed, it has been demonstrated in vivo and in vitro, that fullerenes and related structures reduce the toxicity of free radical assault on neuronal tissue, reacting readily and at a high rate with free radicals, which are often the cause of cell damage or death. Although there is strong evidence that antioxidant activity is an intrinsic property of fullerenes, the mechanism of radical scavenging and neuro protection are still unclear. In this work, we have studied the reaction between fullerene C60 and hydroxyl radicals, using high level quantum chemistry and computational kinetics methods.
Energy profiles are calculated using different basis sets, and reaction rate constant are reported for the first time. The presence of non-polar environments seems to enhance the reactivity of fullerene molecule toward OH radicals, compared to the gas phase. Energetic considerations show that once a first radical is attached to the fullerene cage, further additions are increasingly feasible, suggesting that fullerenes can act as OH radical sponges. They also protect their livers in a dose-dependent manner against free-radical damage. To be sure, according to histopathological examinations and biological tests, pristine C60 can be considered as a powerful
liver-protective.
Oil of Life in Your Anti-Candida Campaign
We've talked about systemic Candida overgrowth in the past, and several of our offerings help address this issue which can be the basis for serious challenges when left unchecked.
Tiaga Extract,
Colloidal Silver , Cleansing Tea, Oxy-Rich, AMM / OMM and Living Clay are a few items that spring to mind; however, olive oil (as in Oil of Life) will also support your efforts.
Olive oil contains a plant chemical named oleuropein which is found in both olive oil and olive leaf extract. It contains powerful anti-fungal properties and stimulates your immune response to Candida overgrowth. It has also been shown to help stabilize blood
Sugar levels -- this is important for Candida sufferers because elevated blood
Sugar levels can feed the fungus.
Oil of Life contains organic, extra-virgin olive oil, the best you can ingest.
You must be rigid in your habits to overcome systemic Candida, eliminating all
Sugar and sugar-forming food and beverages,
Antibiotics , lowering stress, etc. Taking a good probiotic is also important.
According to Candida expert Lisa Richards, Candida overgrowth causes low adrenal function and low metabolic energy, so supplementing to support / rebuild the adrenal glands is encouraged.
Fullerenes Can Potentiate Hair Growth
The 2009 publication, Fullerene Nanomaterials Potentiate Hair Growth, reports hair loss is a common symptom resulting from a wide range of disease processes and can lead to stress in affected individuals. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of fullerene nano materials on hair growth.
"We used shaved mice as well as SKH-1 bald mice to determine if fullerene-based compounds could affect hair growth and hair follicle numbers. In shaved mice, fullerenes increased the rate of hair growth as compared with mice receiving vehicle only. In SKH-1 hairless mice fullerene derivatives given topically or subdermally markedly increased hair growth.
This was paralleled by a significant increase in the number of hair follicles in
fullerene-treated mice as compared with those mice treated with vehicle only. The fullerenes also increased hair growth in human skin sections maintained in culture.
These studies have wide-ranging implications for those conditions leading to hair loss, including alopecia, chemotherapy and reactions to various chemicals." (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=Fullerene%20nanomaterials%20potentiate%20hair%20growth)
Newsletter Notes
6-7-13: Every once in a while, a new product drops into our lap and it represents a new paradigm. Six years ago,
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement was one of those products and then 2 years ago Liquid Manna was another. Last Saturday we were introduced to another
paradigm-shifting product, and we are simply tingling with excitement. You are so lucky because we are going to tell you all about it tonight! (Grins)
Oil of Life is an anti-aging product that has staggering potential to significantly improve our quality of life and dramatically extend our life expectancy. That sounds like the Fountain of Youth to me . . . can it be true? We think so, and there is pretty solid science to support that belief.
Like always, I have to tell you the story behind our breakthrough discovery. Last Thursday, C.B. called me to say that she would like to come by on Saturday afternoon to pick up a huge product order for the health food store she manages. She also said she had something she wanted to show me. Of course, I invited her to come on by, get some tomatoes, and show me whatever she had. She is always a joy to visit with and she is practically a health-food encyclopedia. She is an avid fan of Magnesium Oil and left here with 5 gallons of Magnesium Oil for herself and her family. It's amazing how much Magnesium Oil she sells in that tiny health food store. Someday soon, I am going to record an interview with her and let her rant for a while about our Magnesium Oil.
With that background, when C. recommends a product we listen, and she was telling an amazing story about Oil of Life which is Carbon 60 dissolved in a very high-grade
Extra-Virgin Olive-Oil . A little over a year ago a study was released to the public about tests run on laboratory rats with this product. The most important result of the test is that the control group of rats all died before any of the rats on Oil of Life (our name for it), and they all died of cancer or pneumonia after an average of 37 months. On average, the rats that were given Oil of Life lived twice as long as the control group and they all eventually died of old-age sorts of conditions . . . the oldest lived 66 months.
This is an extraordinary outcome, and the study drew lots of attention. Lots of people were trying the product and posting exciting results on the Internet. The media was also getting onto the bandwagon and reporting testing results. Then, for some unknown reason most of those testimonials and reports disappeared from the Internet. Hmmm . . . do we smell a rat? (Pardon the pun . . . grins.) I suspect that Big Pharma or the alphabet agencies applied a heavy hand, and thus we are going to be very cautious in making Oil of Life available.
The production of Oil of Life is very labor and time intense. It requires almost constant stirring for at least 3 weeks, and then it is put into a centrifuge and finally poured through a very fine-mesh filter.
Oil of Life comes in a four-ounce bottle, and a maintenance amount would be a teaspoon once per day. However, most people would want to get a jump start and take a teaspoon twice per day. If you take 1 teaspoon twice a day, almost everyone will experience very noticeable results very quickly, like a huge increase in energy, better sleep, symptoms falling away, aches and pains vanishing.
A local doctor reports that he had a patient with a liver destroyed by some sicko allopathic drug and thus required a liver transplant. He put the patient on Oil of Life, and by the time a liver became available, he no longer needed it. The Oil of Life had rejuvenated his liver. Because Oil of Life is the most powerful imaginable scavenger of free radicals, our life forces are liberated from fighting free radicals and can work miracles throughout our body. Everyone will respond differently, depending on what your health issues are, but everyone will respond in some positive way . . . maybe only to live a disease-free life until age 120! (Grins)
6-13-13: The response to our announcement of the exciting Oil of Life was wonderful, and our entire stock was sold out by 10:00 am on Friday, even though we restricted the number of bottles that Members could purchase to two. Yesterday I visited with our supplier to explore the dynamics of increasing production, and I have exciting news for you. I had called him on Friday morning to order another 200 bottles. However, yesterday he let me know that he had anticipated that we would need far more bottles and now has 400 bottles in process that will probably be ready for use on June 28th.
In order to accomplish that for us, he spent thousands of dollars buying equipment and supplies so that he can produce batches of 400 bottles. As soon as the first batch is completed, he will start another batch of 400 that will be ready two weeks later. He has committed to purchase as much equipment as necessary to satisfy our future needs.
Personally, I think that Oil of Life has far greater long-term potential than
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and doesn't taste nearly as nasty. (Grins) I finally got to the point where I was NEVER going to put
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement in my mouth again . . . no matter what I might be dealing with. Although some will not agree, I don't find it unpleasant to take a teaspoon of olive oil straight. But Oil of Life is so potent that you can take it any way that works for you . . . dip it with bread, put it in a smoothie, put it on a salad, put some chocolate or honey in it . . . whatever works for you. (Grins)
I have been invited to participate in a doctor and scientist forum regarding carbon 60 with olive oil. Although much of the dialog is way over my head technically, I have been gleaning enough to make it worthwhile to plow through over 2,400 posts about what we term Oil of Life. So far I have only gone through perhaps 200.The forum started just as the now-famous rat study was released and at first there was a bit of floundering to determine the best way to transfer those results to humans.
One of the early developers / experimenters has ALS (Lew Gehrig's Disease), and he only expected to live two years. Now it is well over a year later, and his condition seems to have stabilized . . . that is exciting! Two of my extended family members died of ALS in recent years, so I have an intense interest in anything that gives help. Presently, ALS is a horrible fate.
As I work my way through more of the postings, I will share a condensed version of what I am finding. So far there have been references to new and faster hair growth, heightened sex drive, improved skin elasticity and healing, stress reduction, improved sleep (deeper but less sleep required), dramatic strength and endurance increases in workouts, mental clarity, reduced aches and pains, rapid burn recovery, age spots fading then disappearing and much higher energy.
Underlying all of these results, and maybe accounting for them, is the powerful free-radical scavenger aspect of Oil of Life. It seems that there may not be another antioxidant as powerful as Oil of Life. However, some of the contributors to the forum are speculating that Oil of Life is more than simply a robust antioxidant and there may be other dynamics involved, and they are qualified to make those sorts of suggestions.
I have been taking one teaspoon of Oil of Life in the morning and evening for seven days now. The most noticeable difference for me has been in relation to sleep. I find that I am able to go to sleep more easily and sleep more soundly. Together, that seems to equate to a reduced need for sleep. Often, I only sleep for 5 or 6 hours and that seems to be adequate.
For now, as far as we know, we only have one competitor in the US and one in Europe. By the way, we are priced well below both of them. If there are others out there, they are also very low profile and that is a good thing.
7-18-13: I thought it might be a good idea to give you a report on how I am now working with the Oil of Life. After taking a teaspoon every morning and evening for two months, I have now backed off to taking only one teaspoon per day and I have not noticed a decrease in my results. Intuitively, this rate now feels comfortable for me. I even skip a day occasionally without consequence. Admittedly, I didn't have any major health issues going on, so dropping back to one teaspoon per day after two months feels right.
If you haves serious issues going on, you may want to stay at the two teaspoons per day level for much longer. You will sense what is right for you based on how your body and your condition are responding. Remember that the Oil of Life has a strong residual impact at the cellular level, "sucking up" free radicals in a big way for days or even weeks. Thus, depending on your free radical load, once you catch up and load up your cells with Carbon 60, you can back off the pace. All of that is to tell you that once you sense that you have loaded your cells, you can be a lot more casual about your intake; and most people will find that a bottle of Oil of Life will usually last 30 days and you will be on a long-term track to serious longevity. Let's grow young together! That works for me if it works for you! (Grins)
8-8-13: Many of us, myself included, started out taking two teaspoons of Oil of Life per day in order to get a jumpstart and load our cells with Carbon 60 to maximize our ability to reduce free radicals in our bodies and begin the age-reversal process. After two months of taking Oil of Life at that level, I noticed that I was losing that energy surge that I had experienced at first. Then I recalled something that the creator of Oil of Life warned me about in one of our first meetings.
He advised that when you take large amounts of Oil of Life and finally saturate your cells with Carbon 60, you will actually seem to experience a reversal of your gains. That was what I was experiencing but did not initially recognize. He says that the solution is to stop taking Oil of Life for a few days and then start back at a lower level. In my case, I stopped taking it for almost a week. Now that I have started again, I am only taking one teaspoon per day and skip a day occasionally. My energy, focus, clarity and drive have now returned.
The benefit of this is that your bottle of Oil of Life will go further and you will still maintain optimum levels of Carbon 60 at the cellular level. Please remember that the primary thrust of the Oil is to minimize free radicals in your system. By doing so, and by maintaining that ability to neutralize free radicals, you will arrest the aging process and even start to reverse it. Also, note that if you are not suffering any noticeable impact of free radical damage in your body, you may not notice big changes, but you are going a long way toward delaying free radical damage in the future.
He has found that some of the more significant age-reversal changes he has experienced didn't start becoming noticeable until after six months of working with Oil of Life. I am trying to point out that it can produce some really valuable benefits at first, but it is best thought of as a long-term approach to slow aging and even reverse the signs of aging. It is not a quick fix, and it is not a short-term approach. Once you achieve saturation, it is very easy to maintain that level of Carbon 60 in your cells and just casually make it a part of your health regimen for the long haul. Even if you don't experience dazzling early results, stick with it and you will be very pleased that you did. Let's relax with Oil of Life and age very gracefully and slowly, together! (Grins)
9-5-13: It seems that the Oil of Life is helping a lady with staggering pain associated with Lyme's disease, whereas nothing else seemed to be helping. It is early still, but it would be wonderful if the Oil is generally helpful for people suffering from Lyme's disease. Hopefully, Leslie will keep us posted on her client's progress.
It is interesting to me that we have not gotten a lot of testimonials in connection with the Oil of Life. However, the very best testimonial in our business is reorders, and the reorder rate has been phenomenal.
9-26-13: Speaking of Oil of Life, I have a little testimonial that I would like to share. Our supplier and several Members have reported that their gray hair was regaining some of its original color. Well, since most of the time I am alone at Bat Cave Road and have my cowboy hat on, no one is around to notice. However, here in Australia Libby, Clare and Ashley have all noticed that color (other than gray) is coming back into my hair. How neat is that?
Mind you, I no longer care much about my hair getting grayer because I figure I earned every one of those hairs. But it might be nice if someone "carded" me to prove I am old enough to qualify for senior discounts. It does hurt just a little, when cashiers don't even bother to ask and just give them to me. (Grins)
12-5-13: For quite a while now I have dropped my usage to a daily teaspoon about 4 or 5 days per week. After starting at the higher level of two teaspoons per day for several months, I now find that I can retain the benefits with the lower regimen. See what works for you.
12-12-13: I would like to share some thoughts about the Oil of Life now. You will remember that the whole concept of Oil of Life grew out of a study with some little laboratory animals, and it dramatically extended their lifespan. We probably have not adequately stressed the power of sharing Oil of Life with your beloved pets . . . cats, dogs, gerbils, goats, horses . . . whatever. (Grins) I have talked to several people who report that their pets just eat it up when it is poured on their dried or wet food. I would like to repeat a quote from the developer of Oil of Life, regarding reports he has heard about pets responding.
The most incontrovertible reports involve the old dogs and cats. Many people have reported their old dog or cat becoming more energetic as a result of Oil of Life. In my own case, we are giving it to my son's 14 year-old Lab, and now he's acting like he's 10 years-old again. I had one person report that their dog, which could no longer get up off his bed without help, was now running around the yard on his own, apparently pain-free for the first time in years.
I'm just saying, remember your pets too. You might have a wonderful impact on their quality of life AND their longevity. Over the years since we started Global Light, I have heard incredible stories of people spending small fortunes to extend the life of their pets just a tiny bit. What a bonus, if your beloved pets not only live a lot longer but also have a much greater quality of life. You can indeed recapture some of the joy of their younger days.
User Experiences
Last year after the results of a French study were published, many people began using C60 in olive oil and began getting miraculous benefits. There were thousands of testimonials from those folks on various online forums. For some strange reason, they have been pulled from the Internet, so here is what we know from residual feedback and from current users of Oil of Life.
People reported having higher levels of energy.
Mental clarity was achieved by many who reported their usage.
Those who lifted weights reported they had more strength / stamina and could perform higher reps; some even said that it was as if they had ingested creatine and / or their results were better than taking anabolic steroids.
Many reported they felt calmer and experienced less stress.
Runners were pleased that they could run faster and longer distances with a lower heart rate and less fatigue. It seems that their body was utilizing oxygen more efficiently.
Enhanced libido was reported by some. Others started requiring less sleep.
Someone even said their skin healed faster after applying it topically to a sunburn. (This is not a product designed for topical application and we have other formulations for sunburn.)
- A 46 year-old female says: "My hair is much thicker and shinier after one month on Oil of Life. My skin is smoother and old blemishes and even some wrinkles seem to have faded. My concentration and energy levels are much improved. The problems I have had with higher than normal blood sugar have disappeared. This stuff is amazing!”
- A couple in their mid-fifties report: "We both are sleeping a lot better. It's nice to wake up in the morning ready to tackle the world! We can't say for sure if this Oil of Life is actually turning back the clock or if it just feels that way. Whatever the case, we want more and intend to continue taking it.”
- A Texas rancher in his 70's: “I took a bottle a few weeks ago and all through the flu season when my son got sick and there was a lot to do here with goats being born night and day, I never got sick. I even gave some to two baby goats who were dying from exposure to the cold and they both recovered.”
- An avid bicyclist in her 50's just completed a several-hundred mile ride in the middle of winter and says: "It was snowing many days up in the California mountains and even though I am not used to the elevation and cold, I did really well. Out-rode kids half my age and I seemed to recover from the days' ride much quicker than normal.

I have been taking the Oil of Life for a week, and I have noticed that I have had more stamina these last two days. My back does not get sore quite so fast and does not stay sore as long. Also, when I am doing work on my knees, it is a lot easier and less painful to get up. Thank God for that. I used to walk hunched over until I could straighten up all the way.
It does not hurt as much to get up in the morning either. I have been getting a back massage (chair massage) every week for a while, but it really started to feel better a few days after starting the Oil of Life. This stuff is starting to look like a real blessing. M.R., Texas

I’m 60 years old and fifteen to twenty
pounds above my ideal weight. Ten years ago I could run three miles to the gym, work out for two hours, and run back. Then I made the mistake of taking statins for high cholesterol. After some months I realized I was being chemically poisoned, so I stopped. My recovery was slow and incomplete. Years later I still suffered from it, but PQQ was a big help. The effects were noticeable in two days, and I reached a plateau in one week. Still, I couldn’t run more than 100 yards without feeling I’d run a marathon. I couldn’t get enough air, probably due to residual mitochondrial damage, in my thinking.
Then, four hours after ingesting two mg of C60 in olive oil, I went running and kept on running. My god, I could breathe! The next day was the same. I ran a mile and a half, and I hadn’t done that since before Crestor. The effects seemed too quick to be the result of mitochondrial biogenesis, but it must have something to do with the mitochondria. T.B., Texas

I am a 55 year-old male in relatively good condition. During two months of daily consumption of one to two teaspoons of Oil of Life I have experienced the following:
I sleep MUCH better and feel much more alert and less stressed if I get less than a full night's sleep.
A 20%increase in overall strength, while lifting weights and much shorter recovery times after a heavy workout.
My teeth and gums seem much healthier.
My mental focus and productivity at work have dramatically improved.
In general I feel my overall health is much improved. The best description I can give is I feel rejuvenated. J.S., Texas

I am sending my thoughts on Oil of Life: I hope that everyone is experiencing the wonderful effects that I have. I guess I should say I am in my early 60's and have had many health issues in my life, but not anymore.
I am on my third bottle of Oil of Life, and the feeling of vitality and energy was something I noticed with the first bottle. My skin's brown spots and wrinkles are almost gone (Moringa Skin Food is the other blessing; no one should be without!.) My problem with my kidney and bladder since I was 2 years-old is gone,
I wish I could explain this better, but you just start to feel like you are 30 years-old again. The use of Oil of Life, Moringa and Magnesium Oil are the most amazing blessings I have ever experienced. Bless you for all you do. C.D., Manager of Health Food Store, Texas

I'm noticing things. I'm getting hot. Driving home for over half an hour, Julie is still cold, although the heater is working, but I am toasting, even when I take my sweater off.
I FEEL GOOD! I've been coughing up a lot of muck. Yes, I see that as a good sign. I'm sleeping better and seem to need less of it.
My evening glass of wine makes me feel ill. Probably time to switch to water! My normally-aching back feels better.
Of course, all these are subjective, but the point is that I am noticing them. I joined the Global Corporate Challenge and I am walking a whole lot more. R.F., Washington

What I did not fully appreciate, until I re-read the Oil of Life report, was how long the fullerenes persist in the body; continuing to do their work of neutralising oxidants.
This alone would explain why skipping a day or so would be perfectly OK.
My intuition tells me that 'more is not necessarily better' so I'll take your advice and cut back to a teaspoon per day; and only if particularly stressed will I increase the amount.
Up to now (5 days ) I've been taking 2 teaspoons per day and feel fine; I'm sleeping very well even though night temperatures are 15 to 20 degrees centigrade.
I think this is a product for long-term use where the benefits will just keep coming. J.S., UK

Since 2006 I have been dealing with a systemic autoimmune disease that included heart and kidney failure among many other complications. In the past 3 years I have had a sore on my right thumb that just would not heal no matter what I tried, and I have tried so many things. They would help, but healthy tissue just would not form to completely heal it and it would open up and get re-infected. This infection had prompted a trip to the ER and urgent care more than once since my immune system had been so low.
Since using the Oil of Life new HEALTHY tissue has formed over it and it is almost completely healed over; and I just finished my first bottle! There have been other really hopeful signs as well, such as an overall sense of wellness that I had not felt in so many years, more energy and an increase in muscle strength.
The last point here I want to also say that I have had pronounced muscle weakness due to a muscle disease as well. I am beginning to breathe better and I feel that my body is finally healing! My skin is much better and much of the dryness and flakiness is going away, and this is only after one bottle with 2 teaspoons a day! I can taste the chemotherapy coming out of my body as well and once that is cleared out, I know that there will be even more miracles. In the morning, I awaken feeling better and better and not so utterly fatigued!
Thank you for your continued efforts for those of us struggling with health issues! I will keep you posted as to my progress, but so far it has been nothing short of wonderful as it has given me back a sense of hope and joy to my life! J.C., Minnesota

I have been taking Oil of Life for the past month and have been very impressed with the results I've had so far. My health is very good so I was not taking it for any specific issue but just for an increase in my general well-being. During this past month I did not make any other changes in my diet or supplements other than starting to take Oil of Life.
On a physical level I've noticed an increase in energy and a need for less sleep. Most of all, I've noticed an amazing increase in the quantity and quality of my bowel movements as if I am on a
Colon Cleanse program which I am not. In addition, I've dropped a little weight during the past month, even though I really did not need to but it must be connected with the cleansing process.
On a mental and emotional level I have noticed feeling more clear and stable, thus being able to more easily deal with issues that come up in everyday life. So overall I feel Oil of Life has helped bring my health and well-being to an even higher level in a relatively short period of time. Once again you have come out with another amazing, cutting-edge product. T.H., Thailand

I have a client who has been on the Oil of Life now for several weeks. Original complaint was nerve pain in both hips and the right upper thigh. After initial use of 1 tsp a day (2 tsp caused nausea for one week but client was able to increase to 2 tsp a day). Throughout the month levels needed by the body changed from 2 - 6 tsp at the most, verified thru muscle response. It was interesting, as the end result was active borreila (through muscle testing) and with RNA testing we could find probable hidden infections. What is referred to as pleomorphisim. This infection of borreila would jump from a virus to a nano bacteria to molds, fungus, to Rickettsia and even hide behind the flu. Every time, Oil of Life was the antidote.
After two weeks client reports that when the nerve pain rises she tests for a muscle response as to how many teaspoons are needed, and within 10-20 minutes the pain is gone. Client has been experiencing this pain for 6 months and would rate on a scale of 1- 10 (10 being the most painful) at this level of 10 it was difficult to concentrate or even talk at times. This level of pain was experienced most days. Client had been seeing a Rolfer weekly to help deal with the pain for 5 months to no avail. Temporary relief, but not complete relief. Client has had one full day of no pain, but the see saw continues.
Weeks 6-8: Pain is still present and at the scale of 10. Client is doing anything from 2 tsp a day to 7. Again, client takes the Oil until pain disappears -- one teaspoon and then waits 15-20 minutes to take another if pain has not subsided. Client has not experienced another day of no pain, but still finds the Oil of Life can reduce the pain to zero. Client has used approximately 6 bottles at this rate, over 2 months.
I feel it is very interesting that the borrelia was moving into the tissues and the Oil of Life could track it down, as long as you had RNA to expose the next pleomorphisim. If anyone has any comments on this, I would appreciate it. L.H., California
Response: That is a very encouraging testimonial! I have no doubt the Oil of Life is providing pain relief for the patient and probably some anti-bacterial and
anti-inflammatory effects as well. I know Lyme's disease can manifest a broad range of symptoms. Bottom line is the patient is getting some relief from this crippling affliction. We're doing some good, eh? Oil of Life supplier

I have been using a teaspoon a day of Oil of Life since it came out. I bumped it up to one teaspoon in the morning and another teaspoon at night. Ten months ago I was losing gobs of hair due to nerves caused by personal challenges . . . very demoralizing to say the least regardless of your age. My hair was also getting gray very fast, so I had been wearing a wig. Well, low and behold, recently I noticed my hair growing back in a dark color! Yippee! I am 71 years young. So now my hair seems to be more salt and pepper rather than gray (the way it had turned from my nerves going nuts.) Looks like a light frosting of gray now. I am one happy camper. L.S., California

When asked if I've noticed any changes since starting to take Oil of Life, the most noticeable change is that my skin has normalized. No longer is my skin dry and flaky. It looks so good that I no longer need to apply body lotion. I am so pleased that Oil of Life has created this visible outer effect. It must be working wonders on the inside. J.B., Texas

I thought you would like to hear about a result I believe I am seeing with the use of the Oil of Life which I have been using regularly since early July. I have noticed that two raised moles on my forehead -- one in the center and one over my left eyebrow -- have diminished. The pigmentation seems to be gone! There is still a bit of the mole visible (the part that is raised), but they are less visible because pigmentation seems to be gone.
I was pretty surprised when I first noticed the one over the eyebrow and then took a 2nd look and recalled that I had one just about in the center of my forehead, a little offset, and that is now almost gone! Hooray! J.R., California
