I started with a sinus infection 6 years ago which I had never had. One thing led to another--sinus surgery, allergic to everything, thyroid issue, asthma attacks. After the allergy diagnosis I pretty much have followed the candida diet and lost 65 pounds. My major issue is mucus/phlegm. The last several years I have been on nystatin, diflucan; herbs such as oregano, paul d'arco; vitamins and minerals. I have also done 10-undecenoic acid off and on. I take milk thistle, activated charcoal, lots of C, and diatomaceous earth. Now my immune system is low.
I knew there had to be a root problem and last summer tested positive for Lyme which the specialist said can morph into anything and in my body it makes mucus. He believes rotated antibiocs may kill it but is a believer in supplements as well. I did the antibiotics for a few months but once again the die-off was too much.
My problem: when I have die-off the mucus gets worse and thicker and stickier if that is possible and goes straight to the bronchial tubes/lungs and I cannot breathe which is a trip to ER, antibiotics, steroids, oxygen, and maybe stay a few days. Not breathing is miserable. Local drs. say it is simply asthma and are not believers of Lyme, fungus, or candida.
I do watch what I eat. I have to keep my airways open during die-off and prednisone is the only thing that does it. I have tried everything else.
At the present I have quit the nystatin and difulucan. I take one HCL at meals and one Paul d'arco. About a month ago I started 10-undecenoic acid and got up to 15 pretty quick but the die-off was horrible and I had to cut down on that. I am taking 2 three times a day at this time.
Any ideas?
