Hey guys!
I was wondering if I could get some advice regarding electrolytes and potassium (and any other minerals/topics during my water fast). I'm set out to do a 30 day
Water Fast to cleanse my body before easing into a raw vegan diet. I'm mainly doing this to stop cravings, binges, and just cleanse myself, also weight loss! I have a few extra
pounds I wouldn't mind departing from.
My questions :
- Electrolytes/potassium/minerals, how do I get them? Do I supplement, or should I not?
I read on an interview with "Loren Lockman" (a fasting specialist, runs a fasting center) that our fat has all the minerals, nutrients & energy that we need. That there is no need for any types of supplements because you make your body dependent. Is this true? I don't want to die, or my heart to give out due to mineral depletion. :/
- Type of water to drink? I was thinking Zephyrhills because of the 7.2 PH balance and it's spring water (minerals). Good idea?
I do plan on changing my lifestyle (working out, following Dr. Sebi's nutrition guide) afterwards to keep the weight off and my health at maximum effeciency.
