I have been having too much acne since 9 months. I have researched and decided to do fasting. I am drinking mainly water but having honey and lemon juice mixed in water every two hours from morning till evening 6pm. Today is the 4th day of my fast. Acne are still breaking out. If you have acne, forget honey and forget any other sweetener.
Instead try Water Fasting for 3-5 days.
Lemon have strong acids that not all people are able to tolerate.
Lemon can also trigger release of histamine, and histamine can trigger acne.
