Greetings, Webmaster - I haven't been on CZ in a few days and dropped in this evening.
I found that each and every word of every post and article was visible on every forum. I don't know if this was an intentional change, or not, but it is a dreadful eye-full and a horror to navigate.
Same goes forth with videos, I guess. The links have been replaced with a still-shot-play image, rather than a link to the video, itself.
It just seems to be a little too much information, at the outset. I personally feel that the previous arrangement was just fine and allowed for people to pick and choose more easily, particularly if there were older posts that they were interested in.

some defaults have been changed, but you are still in control.
What device do you use to view curezone ?
Computer? Mobile Phone? Tablet?
On top of the forum page, there is a menu with several important links.
The menu contains 5 "buttons":
Home
Old Home (or Hot Threads)
Hot Messages (or Threads)
Collapse (or Expand)
... (10 other links drop down menu)
Click on the link "Collapse" and se what happens. The forum page should show only links to messages, not the complete messages.
Click on the link "Expand" and se what happens.
Click on the link "Old Order" and se what happens.
Click on the link "Hot Threads" and se what happens.
You can change the view of the forum messages (expanded or collapsed) and you can change the order of the forum threads (old order, by the date of the topic message) or the new order (threads are sorted by the date of the last message posted within that thread, this order is more common on all other forums on the web )

Thank you for the instructions. I'll have to sort this out as I can. As a visual artist, I took many courses in graphic design way, way back when everything was pre-digital and marketing became a specialty, later in life. I'm going to guess that the format is generally meant for mobile applications, as nearly all websites are, these days. SO........I'll adjust myself to these changes even if I don't "like" them.

Okay.........I'm on a desktop computer, and I did "collapse" the menu. A couple of questions - do I need to do this each time I venture onto CZ, AND, what is with the colored bullets? I personally don't think that they're necessary unless a "new" subject has a colored button with responses as they previously were. The reason for this is that there is already visual information and adding bright and varied colors doesn't really "enhance" things for the user, so to speak from an artist's perspective.
Again...........thank you and I hope I don't have to collapse the menu all fo the time. I'm too old to waste time on that!

I am working on it, so the idea is that CureZone will remember your last choice.
If your last choice was "Collapse", you will get Collapsed forum pages when you click on the forum name from the CureZone front page.
If your last choice was "Expand", you will get Expanded forum pages when you click on the forum name from the CureZone front page.
"What is with the colored bullets?"
Colored bullets help understand what messages are a reply to what threads.
Green is a reply to parental dark blue ... etc.
It helps understanding threads on small screens (smart phones), but may actually not be necessary on desktop screens.
I will see if I remove colored bullets totally from desktop views.
