So I had a pretty devastating dental infection some years back, that left me on the far end of the disability spectrum. Anyway to cut a long story shot I had a large jawbone cavitation (or osteonecrotic lesion). I originally found it with the Cavitat, altough I did get a good MRI image of it also. X-ray showed basically nothing. CT also failed to really show anything. I really can't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't found it with the Cavitat ..
Cavitat as a company no longer exists. The technology seemed to important to leave in the dustbin of history, so I set upon a quest about 2 years ago to basically re-invent it.
Anyway my first prototype and patient test was successful. We trialed it against the Cavitat machine and it gave virtually identical results.
