I really enjoyed eating Dave's Killer bread in all of its three major varieties. It's so tasty and has a surprising amount of moisture, especially considering its high whole wheat content. After eating it for about a year, I noticed that I was having extremely loose stools and the beginnings of IBS symptoms. I've never had IBS, but my daughter does. About two months ago, I switched to Franz organic whole multigrain bread. Within a single week, my symptoms entirely disappeared. They both have vital wheat gluten and several types of whole grains but in differing amounts. Franz bread is drier and less tasty, yet still holds almond butter, peanut butter, jelly, etc. the same way. My body's response has clearly indicated that I shouldn't go back to Dave's as it is currently formulated. I'm much less gassy, no more bloating, and everything is regular and right as rain.
