I developed a bit of a sinus infection after beginning the Fenbendazole, so last week I decided to really up the ante on the sinus spray.

Because I am on Doxycycline to mop up any bacteria the dying mites release, I wanted to make sure the suspected colony in my sinuses was exposed by dissolving any biofilm in there.

Then both the Fenben and the Doxy could do their work on them.

I advise extreme caution if anyone else tries this.

I put pure Spriit Gum Turpentine into my squirter.

Sat on the floor of the bathroom and sprayed one spray into one nostril and sniffed it up hard. Then the other and immediately lay down with my head tilted back.

Within a minute I could feel the movement of it draining backwards and upwards.

I lay there for a good 3-5 minutes. On sitting up I sniffed backwards strongly and a plug was released which I could then cough and spit out.

Sorry it sounds disgusting.

I have never been able to do this before. The plug was yellow.

I repeated the procedure twice a day for two days. Each time I got more out easily. On one occassion I could even feel drainage into my right ear.

The sensation of the spirit gum was a little unpleasant but not too bad while the mucus was in there. The last time I did it it must have irritated the mucous membrane and burned a little and caused eye watering and lots of sneezing.

This dissipated within a few minutes, but was enough to make me it would not be a good idea to repeat the procedure at the same strength.

Diluting it with water is not effective enough to get the plugs out.

I do have a slight sense of irritation but it was worth it to me to know that whatever may be in there can now be reached by the Fenben and the Doxy.
