Can you please ask her if she thinks dupilumab and the new biological drugs coming out in the future could also possibly work for our condition? This lady runs a lot of clinical trials for new inflammatory skin condition drugs this will definitely be the best thing this forum will get for info and treatment apart from danikis breakthrough with imuran. Im curious if she would be willing to accept you into one of her trials?

Just for a heads up can you show her some pictures of ec when its really bad so she can get a idea what the condition is like at its fullness. As your lips have improved so much I'm sure she would get a better idea of the condition with some photos when its bad and scaly etc etc

Not many conventional doctors seem to know what is connected to the lips to make them peel, not even GI doctors I see. The only doctor who connected peeling lips to an organ was an allergist I saw who said elevated liver enzymes can cause peeling lips. I had slightly elevated liver enzymes due to celiac disease. But I know the intestines or digestive system can be related to the condition of the lips. In chinese medicine, it describes which organs are related to the top and bottom lip. Could you verify with her which organs can cause inflammation on the lips (the top and bottom lip might be affected by different organs) if some people have a problem with an organ instead of just an allergy to something. Messed up intestines can cause allergy sensitivity, though.

I hear you. Still here struggling with this shit, though trying to be as strong as I can. Better mentally, at least.
