I went to Dr. Yu first because he tests you, and gives you remedies and consultation the same day. He's not in a rush to kick you out, especially if you have flown in to see him. He gives you a lot of brochures and newsletters before hand and after the appointment so that you are well informed.

Yeah Dr. Cahill is tricky because they do not answer the phone, don't follow up with you after you finally made the appointment, and the rates vary. If you are really desperate you would fly to St. Louis to Dr. Yu

Dr. Cahill is also very old. He is probably nearing retirement. It's sad that he's one of the last medical parisitologists out there in the U.S. I actually can't even think of any other doctor that does what he does. His test doesn't find everything tho, after three visits to him he wasn't able to help me and he does minimal blood testing as well. Dr. Cahill is also a little shady ar his office he barely even talks to you for your 300-500 dollar appointment. Dr. Yu on the other hand at least puts some treatment plan together from the first visit.

There are two Dr. Cahills in NYC. The one that is seeing patients is Dr. Kevin Cahill. You can usually get an appointment with him within a few days. I just saw him last week and talked to him today. He doesn't have a website or email address. The other Dr. Cahill is his nephew, John Cahill, who does not see new patients.

I'm also from NEPA. I've been treating myself for a massive disseminated multiple parasite infection for close to two years now. I am 99% clear. There are no infectious disease specialists that will even talk to you on the phone let alone see you even when your pcp or er refers you. There is no help in this area. You are best off determining what you have and ordering the meds online from India or using vet meds. It seems this area is having alot of parasite activity anymore.
