As I await for my new bottle to come in the mail, I continue to ponder this supplement. If you go to any
Health Forums or view the comments after any popular
Iodine article, you see mostly adverse reactions. 75 % of the people are reporting hair falling out, near death experiences like myself and other problems.
The thought of giving my body a fresh start by cleaning out the past residues of drugs like Accutane I have taken in the past really does intrigue me, but at what the cost? Does this stuff deeply buried in your tissues really need to come out? 3 things I have noticed that could go wrong by heavy
Iodine supplements are:
1 - mineral/electrolyte imbalances. Supplement heavy with one could potentially deplete the others.
2-
Iodine could wipe out the good bacteria in the body leaving you with a infection (immune system dysfunction)
3 - the body's natural cortisol system could crash (severe adrenal fatigue)(if you believe that disease exists)
4 - occasionally autoimmune attacks on the thyroid
So is it really worth it or am I just asking for another crash? Id really like some iodine experts to prove me wrong on these points. Its a fine line you draw between if our bodies are just so toxic we are laying in our graveyard OR high doses of iodine do really throw your body out of balance.
