I really will like to know if you have high cortisol or low. Looks like you have hight, but then your test results are mixed.
That confuses me, as how reliable these test are? Blood says hight and saliva low, for example, what that means???
I'm thinking on my case. I just have had blood test for ACTH (LOW) and cortisol (NORMAL), so it looks like my cortisol is normal.
But it feels low, specially in mornings. So I'm afraid when I'll performt the saliva ones of getting mixed results aswell.
From what I have learnt here and Lams site, if you have low cortisol, adaptogens is not what you need. But if you have high cortisol, then they can help.
One of the herbs I use most is chamomille and it does really work right away. If you have stomach pains or bloating, this one works wonders in half an hour.
Also, for H. Pylori and when I had infeccious gasthroenteritis I used a mix of herbs (walnut, thyme, ginger, cinnamon...) with a drop of Lemongrass essential oil and I have to say that's a strong cocktail.
After a few weeks on that I did noticed good things like my eyelash growing more and stronger (it was amazing as in the last year they have been looking so poorly)
These kind of chages tells me something is working better on my body, and it´s because those herbs and probably killing something inside me. Thats why I thought making a proper clean could be a good idea.
As you know I do have a nice diet. I have veggies at luch and night. Raw and cooked. Try to have my carbs also. Etc... but that is just not enough.
Vitamin C has been helping me for a long time, specially those days I get the "ill feeling": bad taste on mouth, fever feeling, flu-like symptoms...
The maximun I take is 2,000mg though
