hi jack,
I guess some people can last longer on a dry fast than others, the longest dry fast I have done was 4 days, then 3.4 days, then over 10 2.5 day fasts. I could not do more than 4 days as I had a headache for the last 3 hours which was too much!
If you have time you can read through all my past posts on here, I would like to think they are mostly high quality, hopefully you would learn a lot.
I don't think dr filonov really understands what happens in the body when dry fasting, a lot of the things he says in the book do not make sense, which is why I also think 11 days is probably too long, in fact anything over 3 days you should have a proper re-feeding program administered by an expert, see the reddit link I posted the other day. - Risk of brain swelling !
I am totally convinced in the power of dry fasting over every other healing treatment in the world.
When I started about 3 years ago, aged 37, my body was in very bad condition, heavy smoking, drinking, injuries, excess, I felt terrible but I did'nt actually have any conditions as such that my doctor was treating, but my internal organs where worn out and damaged from too much abuse. I have since healed internal organs that otherwise would never have healed, I mean nothing else in the world could have repaired them , except for dry fasting.
My right kidney must have been in very bad condition as it healed a lot. Also my left kidney a bit.
My lungs where badly damaged, seem to have totally healed, I felt healing pains and then since my respirtory system has been completely rejuvenated, trust me this was a big relief as i felt unwell and weak before .
My joints, hips escpecially, felt like 30 years of wear and tear reversed.
My eyes brighter.
My tinitus caused by loud speakers has almost healed totally, before I had a ringing all the time as I listened to very loud car speaker one time and damaged my left ear really bad.
Past bone fractures have healed more, even one that was 30 years old.
For me dry fasting is a miracle cure, all of the above have no other cure and some probably would have killed me one day.
It is a shame the medical world does not do more research/trials into it, but it is hard to make money out of people sitting at home not eating and drinking.
I have an indoor trampoline that I bounce on when fasting.
These days I find it very hard to go beyond 2 days fasting, maybe a sign my body is healed enough already, I used to find it very easy to dry fast - not anymore.
The skin is 100% waterproof, so showering is not a problem.
I will never drink distilled water as I believe it is bad.
I will not do any other fast than dry as I think all others are dangerous.
I always break a fast with an proper electrolyte rehydration drink. (or milk) never water.
Dry fasting hasn't helped my skin much, for that I use bio-oil or re-gen cream.
I've also done many
Liver Flushes are flushed out thousands of stones and feel sooo much better.
How did you discover/get into dry fasting Jack ?
