This dude Dwyane Wade DEFINITELY has EC. I think this has been brought up in the past but I was just watching an interview and it is so obvious. And this explain why he always has so much moisturizer on his lips. Look at all his pictures. His lips are smothered in vaseline. And he has the tell tale triangle on his upper lip.
AND he lives in Miami, FL. So its not like the dude would just have chapped lips. There is absolutely no other explanation.
Just imagine how unconfortable it would be to have EC and constantly be on TV and in the media. He must have a pretty mild case.
For those who dont know Dwyane Wade is a professional basketball player. And he's really good.

This is a reply to # 2,134,159if dwyane wade can endure such rigorous training and such a busy public life, with constant interviews and photoshoots, we should learn from him not to let this condition get the better of us. some days i just want to lie in bed all day, miss appointments or tests just because of how my lips look/feel. just gotta remember that it is all about perspective

This is a reply to # 2,134,217Yes, we shouldn't let this condition ruin our life. But I think his condition isn't severe. I doubt his lips will turn white when it touches water and form crusts on it. His case is mild just like when I was 10-17. At that time I didn't think about my lips much because the symptoms weren't severe unlike now.
However, I have managed to accept the condition and I won't let this condition affect my state of mind all the time. If there is a cure for EC then it would great of course but if there is not I wouldn't be upset.- Re: Dwyane Wade Soleil83

Like I said his condition seems very mild. I have EC and my lips look like his everyday. My condition is just in a state where if I keep them moisturized they dont build up.
Also, even when I had full blown EC, if I always kept them moisturized and peeled them everyday then they would look like this. The only reason people with EC have crusty lips is if they leave them completely dry and dont peel them.
If you have a better explanation for someone having that triangle, having their bottom lip extremely pink/red all the time and constantly having to moisturize their lips when they live in an extremely warm/humid environment, please tell.

This is a reply to # 2,134,390For certainly area on my lips, I would still get crust even if I moisturize.. it's like a crusty paste that just wouldn't come off easily, does that happen to anyone?

MoreThis is a reply to # 2,134,390I was just trying to say that I can't see those "crusts" the article was talking about (in the magazine picture), not that he doesn't have EC in general. Of course he might have EC, but yea, a mild version of it then I suppose.

I am just using plain vaseline. I have used many products(natural stuff to potent drugs) and vaseline works best for me. My lips will be all cracked up and dry in one day when my lips are peeled. But if I apply, 2 times a day when I wake up and go to bed, vaseline on my lips I peel my lips at the 3rd or 4th day and it will be less inflamed and painful then I would have forced peeling every day. Natural moisturizes don't work for me and I have to constant moisturize my lips if I use those stuff.

This is a reply to # 2,134,159Not to sound racist or anything but a lot of african americans just have that look on the lips. His lips are purple-ish. I never seen any white or dry crusts though and I watch tons of ball really doubt it

This is a reply to # 2,134,159I had a look at youtube video's. This guy does NOT have EC. Lots off African Americans have that white to the inner lips. And he is always smiling and liking his lips. Not one video is there any skin hanging or any crust on his lips.
