I have a qustion for you people. Do you have any other health problems? Do you any internal organ problems?
I do. I have Gilbert's syndrome. It's a disease that comes out when you're about 16 years old. Most of kids find out about it when they are in that age. The problem with liver is that when you have it sick it will drain a lot of collagen from you body. That's why I was looking through google for some stuff about collagen and I've found out about stuff that a Polish University (University of Gdansk) has discovered. They were making research on natural clean collagen. Many people on internet claim they got cured from lots of stuff by driking collagen, but you know how internet can be - those people could have been hired to write bulls**it just to sell products.
A company from Poland made a special gel for skin. And since many people were drinking it they made special collagen pills. I took a risk and I bought the gel and the pills.
Because of use of Accutane, I have developed stomach inflamation. It was hard for me to eat anything and not having gasses after eating anything. I couldn't wear tighter pants cause my stomach was calling for help. I couldn't function normally at work and pretty much anywhere. So I started taking these pills with natural collagen and 2 days later the inflamation symptoms has gone.
Oh, by the way, I found out about this inflamation after gastroscopy. The doctor who examined my stomach told me I have very redish areas and that the surface is uneven.
I don't know what this collagen did to my stomach but I feel like I used to before taking accutane. I am just wondering if it somehow rebuild the tissue. But unfortunately I can't tell now.
I even took the gel and covered my lips in it but couldn't see any results all of sudden of course. The company which makes it, wrote an info that it takes about 3 months to see actual results on the surface and you have to know that this gel is made mostly just for filling wrinkles.
Maybe about the way it works: the guys who are selling it, are telling on presentations (there are some on youtube but I found them only in Polish) that the gel is slowly stimulating our natural collagen to grow, to activate.
Applying the gel is nothing comfortable. Collagen is just a protein and after you put it on the wet skin it turns to a very thin shell making you skin tight as hell. I've been using it on my lips but a week ago I've been under the Photodynamic Therapy and I stopped. The gel is very uncomfortable to wear the whole day. Of course after applying it you can use moisture on the skin as well, but as we know, lip moisture is a thing that doesn't work well for us.
But I'm thinking... gosh, if it healed my stomach - at least for the time when I'm taking collagen pills, could it also stop the inflamation of the lips? I wonder if anyone with Exfoliative Cheilitis tried collagen injections. Not botox or hyaluronic acid, just collagen. Would it help the lips?
What's your thoughts on it, guys?
P.S. Of course I'm still waiting for my lips to heal after PDT, so this is currently the road I'm taking, but I'm just curious about the whole thing.
