Now that we know without a doubt that his Liposomal vitamin c contains no liposomes (if you call and ask them if it is true that the product contains no liposomes they say yes it is true but it contains the ingredient of a liposomal product!!!)it is no longer just harmless vitamin c as you put it. Many cancer sufferers want to achieve high blood levels of vitamin c as part of their treatment. They take liposomal vitamin c as it is the most bioavailable oral form. Don´t they have the right to know that this product is not liposomal and has just a tiny fraction of the bioavailability of a true liposomal product? So this mislabelling of the product, in pursuit of tapping into and undercutting a market with a fake product, is endangering lives!! I think it is time that everyone starts to spread the word about this mislabelling as it is dangerous and Mercola has made no effort in his marketing to tell the truth.

The problem you have here is that this is not just a harmless vitamin. People with cancer are taking this product believing in is real. If there is a hell and Mercola knows this product is fake...........

I think it is real as Livon labs have never named another liposomal brand in this way. Labelling a product as liposomal and marketing it as that when it is not is cheating the consumer. I for one am very happy that Livon Labs have brought this to my attention. I understand that it may be in their interest but can you blame them when all of us are being cheated in this way.

unfortunately the stuff you make it home is Almost certainly not liposomal Vitamin C. Rather, it's an emulsion, which is not the same thing.

Now don't get me wrong, a vitamin C emulsion is probably very good for you, and likely better than straight vitamin C. But it's not the same as liposomal vitamin C, nor would it have the same benefits as liposomal vitamin C

Just to get it confirmed in writing I wrote the following email to Mercola customer services:

9/11/2013 8:24 AM : You said : I used to think your products were great. I have just learned that your are selling products as liposomal vitamin c when they actually contain no liposomes. This is unfair on your very loyal customers who believe in you. Selling ingredients that are used to make liposomes is very different to selling a liposomal product. Your marketing of the product leads people to believe that the liposomes are ready formed in the product when they are not. Considering true liposomal products are in a completely different price range it is clear that you are more interested in using the liposomal name to make money by selling a product at a fraction of the price that is actually no better that buying vitamin c and lecithin separately. Disgraceful!!! What about those cancer patients who believe they are taking the very best liposomal vitamin c to achieve the highest vitamin c blood plasma levels. Your mis-labelling of the product does not give them a chance to get the best. Shame on you.

However, we do understand your concern, and we will be more than happy to forward your feedback along to the appropriate department.

What a load of rubbish (just add water!) like magic. Well then we should just buy the ingredients separately as it would be cheaper. Liposomes don´t form spontaneously. I have asked them to provide the evidence/ testing they did to prove that this is the case. No reply yet!
