Day 2 has begun at 2pm today. Yay!
I must admit, I am struggling more psychologically that anything else. I want to "taste" something.\
I find I am craving fruits and veggies and am looking forward to eating more of them on a daily basis once the fast is broken properly.
How have you experienced fasters dealt with the boredom and that feeling of wanting to taste something?
My mouth tastes yucky. I did forget this morning and brushed my teeth with toothpaste, but I will be using water from here on out.
I have been very good, and not added a squeeze of lemon or lime to any of my water, but mam does it sound good. I am determined not to though.
I only did two days of prep,
juicing and eating fruit/veggies. On the morning of the 3rd day ( the day I began the
Water Fast in earnest at 2pm) I woke up very nauseous, and I actually vommited a bit of mucous and some bile.
I just figured that that is all the more proof that my body is carrying too many toxins and that I am on the right path with my
Water Fast at this point in time!
Thanks for reading all, all comments/support/suggestions welcome!
Oh...I forgot to mention I have moved in with my 82 year old father, because unfortunately some dementia is setting in and the doctor said he really shouldn't live alone. So I do cook for him and dish out his meds, other than that he is physically mobile and can shave, etc... himself.
I work part-time (around FOOD, of course) and I go to school (for my nursing degree).
I am not really telling my real-life people about the fast, so I am really looking for support here, as this is the only place I can talk about it.
AND as luck would have it, my laptop crashed last night (yep, right before final exams coming up in 2 weeks.)
I am hoping that I can get it fixed or pick up a cheap used one, but I might have to just post from school, so that means M-TH.
Wish me luck!
