Sad but true, Joyce; I really do hope everything's fine with Dr. Bailey and her family. It's odd that she would suddenly disappear for such a long time ( 2 months already), without a hint about what's happening. And as you said, she is the link that's truly needed here to give our discussions, our thoughts and fears solid, feet-on-the-ground advice based on her experience; in order to have us deal with reality and not some haywire concepts and theories.
And about garlic: yes, you can't go wrong with it (I just planted more than a hundred seeds to provide for next years harvest of organic-grade garlic :-)). One of my sisters claims that garlic makes her feel sick and therefore is avoiding it. But as she has issues with her stomach/digestive system, I wonder if not parasites may be the reason for her discomfort when eating garlic. Especially since she's been travelling often in tropical countries. And for some fun: even my tropical deseases specialist, a lady, claims that garlic doesn't do her any good. She spends quite some time every year in Uganda, helping in child care health projects. Go figure. She may need the same help as the kids there do. But that seems to be beyond her powers of imagination.
All my best to you.
