Is she taking any naps during the day? Cutting out the afternoon nap might help her sleep schedule too. My daughter gave up her 2nd nap at 3, she go like a wound up top for 3 days and then collaps around 4:30 and sleep for a couple of hours. It ruined the bedtime routine, but she was really evil by day 3 that when she finally collapsed and fell asleep, I told my husband when he came home that if he woke her up, he'd be in trouble. Boron helps pull out fluoride from the body as does iodine. You can pick up boron supplements separately at healthfood stores and online. Swansons vitamins has it pretty cheaply. They also have 2% lugols. You can put a drop of the
Lugols in her apple juice to get it down her. Make sure she has free access to unrefined salt such as Redmond's RealSalt or Celtic salt, as salt helps the flush out what the
Iodine stirs up. Vitamin C is important too as is magnesium. Vitamin C should be given every day AWAY from the iodine, maybe at lunch time. Magnesium oil would be a good way to ge magnesium in her. Swanson has that too. Dilute it, and spray it on her after bath and rub it in (A little travel size spray bottle woud be good - try 4:1 ratio -- 4 parts water to 1 part mag oil and increase strength when you're ready to refill it). You could also get the gallon size Mag oil and put it in her bath -- maybe 1/4 cup. It'll be really relaxing. Give the
Iodine in morning. Every other day with weekends off would be good for her. Boron (or borax -- borax just a slight pinch) should be given every day.
Melatonin might help. Get a liquid form so you can give her the smallest dose necessary -- like one drop in some juice at dinner time (it needs a couple of hours to kick in). My daughter has had trouble falling asleep at a reasonable time to allow her to get up for school easily for years. We finally resorted to melatonin and it helps a lot. There have been studies giving ADD kids melatonin to help with sleep and it has been deemed safe. Once the fluoride is out of her body and her pineal gland is detoxed, her sleep issues just might resolve on her own.
Is she getting good sources of calcium? A calcium/magnesium fizzy drink at bed time might help too.
Ginagirl has the most experience with borax. You might want to email her
