I have no idea who i can discuss this with without sounding crazy
I know everyone has a dominant side and that that's natural, but my right side is my dominant one but to the point its abnormnal. Im going to list all my symptoms and HOPE someone might have some idea because it is literally driving me nuts.
1) I developed a knee condition last year known as Patella Femoral Syndrome (where the knee doesnt track on the patella properly). This was on my right knee and caused all kinds of imbalances on the right side of me. Tight muscles in my thigh, my hips. This hasnt resolved despite treatment and this came on a year ago .
2) I have always suffered a swelling on my right leg whenever i fly on a plane or get hot - the swellings quite bad and goes from my right foot up to my knee and takes some time to go down. This got worse when i developed my knee injury
3) recently suffered a UTI which went to my kidneys and during that time i suffered from intense pain on my right lower back, around my waist area. This went within about 5 days
4)Developed headaches/earaches after skydiving (6 weeks ago) this still hasnt resolved and mainly on my right side!
5) I always am aware of the right side of my body. I feel this is part of me which im aware of, i am not in touch with my left side - but my right feels very unbalanced. My leg with the knee injury feels thick, heavy, unflexible, i always feel like I want to turn right (zoolander! LOL) . my boyfriend pointed out that when we walk together i always walk with him on the right side , if he's on my left, then ill just move so om on the right - same when we're laying in bed (i do it without noticing, it just feels uncomfortable or unnatural to me on my left)
6) i have TERRIBLE memory, TERRIBLE attention span, TERRIBLE ability to retain info...
I have been asked by three different professionals (personal trainer, dance teacher and my osteopath) as to whether i was born left handed because my body apparently favours that side naturally (which is confusing because if thats true then all my issues should be on that side!) ... when i pick up a hula hoop to dance with it, i natureally go right (not left, like most right handed people)
Im just tired of feeling this unbalance, im tired of the thickness, heaviness constant AWARENESS of my right led.. i just want to be healthy and balanced i have no idea how to do that as i just sound like im crazy but somehow i think theres a connection between all this???? I FEEL SO UNBALANCED :(
