I never do the morning doses of epsom and am getting excellent results. I only do 1-2 tablespoons at night. I've also experimented with no epsom (only magnesium citrate pills). However, this was inferior to the Epsom Salts .

You do not want to get a colonic when you have diarrhea, so combining ES and a colonic would be a bad idea. What you should do, in my opinion, is just take one dose of ES (no more than 1 tablespoon) 1-2 hours before taking the oil/juice.
