A good diet does this mean?
A lot of stress, a lot of O2, CO2 low
higher pressure + bad diet (too many carbs) ect
However, for Practical Purposes, dilation of arteries and arterioles has the most Significant Therapeutic value since Blood Vessels These are the main contributors to systemic vascular resistance and, Therefore, dilation of arteries and arterioles leads to an Immediate Decrease in arterial blood pressure and heart rate (hence, chemical arterial dilators are used to treat heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and systemic, and angina).

Hubby also had his blood pressure rise in the beginning of iodine therapy. He had severe bromine detox, which I believe is what your foamy urine is. Bromine put up a terrible fight getting displaced by iodine, and this wreaked havoc on his nervous system. Slowly, as the detox kept on, his bp came back down. He's always been a good water drinker, which helped keep the bromine moving out. To finish correcting his bp from about 126/75 to 116/70, he needed more potassium. After striking out with both potassium chloride and potassium citrate, he landed on organic dried apricots for the daytime and baked potato for the nighttime as the big guns. Since he already has very good blood levels omega-3 oils, he started 240 mg of GLA from borage oil. His bp zipped down, sort of shocked him, but we're enjoying his new numbers.
Dr. Eric Braverman has stated that the four most effective supplements for bp are GLA, fish oil, magnesium, and garlic. The garlic didn't do anything for Hubby, but the other three plus potassium (and just enough calcium to balance the magnesium so his heart beats rhythmically) did great. You still may struggle till your detox gets further along, though.
IMPORTANT -- with your adrenal struggle, the SALT Ginagirl talks about is very important. And in fact, too much potassium with regard to salt could sabotage your adrenal recovery. I wanted to tell you Hubby's experience, but whether any of it applies to you, I don't know. :(
Here's to getting it sorted out. Best wishes!
