I do a tissue test with what comes out of my nose. If it looks like a worm, I put it on a piece of tissue. If it soaks into the tissue, it's just mucus. Sometimes the worms are coated with mucus, and you can't tell if they are in there or not. The small strongyloides worms look sometimes like little white balls, but you can stretch them out to see they are tiny worms. The larger ones (females) are like a piece of string when you pull them out of your nose, and you can feel them hanging on for dear life trying not to come out. They are tougher than the mucus, and do not soak into the tissue.

You can also put them in alcohol. If they don't dissolve, it's a worm. Mucus dissolves in rubbing alcohol. When I first started fighting the strongyloides, I was collecting 30 to 50 a day of all sizes in alcohol. I'm down to one or two a day thanks to coconut oil.

I have been pulling "white balls" from my mouth for quite some time. I also can feel them in the baxk of my throat but can't always cough them up. I sent a stool sample to the docs and am waiting for results.

Hello, greetings to all. I am and have been infected with what is proving to be a very difficult to treat parasite infection. The infection started in my mouth. I have had pockets of infection in my oral cavity, I can feel them with my teeth. I use to have small white worms that literally drilled into my mouth through my oral tissue and between my gums and teeth. The infection has destroyed my teeth. An oral swab also showed nematodes. The doctors here in NC will not touch me, I was treated in St. Louis by a world renowned doctor. Better, but, my face is still infected and I am only sure my body will become reinfected. I have had nodules in my tongue, at least there not moving anymore. what is happening is the sides of my tongue are becoming discolored, like bruising. Necrotic lesion in my tongue? I am so sick. 4.5 years of this, love the insomnia, bugs play at night. Full moon phase is especially fun. The insomnia though, lucky to get 1-3 hours of sleep a day. Nights are a nightmare, sleep best when the sun is out. Cannot find anyone to help me in this area. I am labeled. As a RN I know a high resolution ultrasound or a MRI would be a diagnostic miracle.

I have lost 50 pounds recently. My new puppy came up positive for worms and we gave him some medicine. I also ordered a dish from a restaurant with pork and ate a good bit of it wondering why the pork was so chewy and light colored before I realized it wasn't cooked. Then came several ailments I was prescribed Antibiotic for several times. I began to experience extreme blockage of my nose, always having to breathe with my mouth open. Would wake up with mouth glued shut with dried mucus or something. Then huge brownish Greyish red chunks of mushy flesh like matter (sometimes with holes through the middle of them) that would block my entire septum in the middle back that I would have to get in the shower and fiercely blow while holding one nostril several times alternating nostrils before the chunks would finally loosen and fly out. Eventually these chunks could have worm like mucus attached to them or I would just blow these worm shaped pieces out. A squeak would be audible after I got some of them out every time. Then I was diagnosed with the flu. Then came lip swelling that was extreme and waxed and Waned, itchy red skin all over, tickling in my mid back around the spine, asthma, nail fungus, coughing up wormy things that looked like mucus, huge bulging veins on my abdomen and temples especially (prior to recently I have always had tiny thread like veins my whole life that nurses said were smallest and hardest to get an iv in they had ever experienced) pulsing of area under both eyes (not lids but lower) in unison with blue under eye bags (which I've also never had) vision problems, psychotic episodes, brain fog, toxic feeling, forgetfulness, extreme anxiety and inability to sleep. Around this time also began the mucus worm like clusters accompanied with a strong foul odor that came separate from the stool and sometimes shot out of my butt with great force as soon as I sat on toilet. The largest group were twisted in a rope like fashion together and attached to a fecal stone. Also what appears to be shedding from my intestines. Bubbles that don't pop are on these pieces sometimes. They always float to top of toilet but never move. I have not had diarrhea only extreme constipation for years not pooping for days usually. Poop is always in rocks that seem heavy and dark
Been taking garlic capsules and probiotics and even azo yeast in case it's candida (doctor thought nasal chunks could be fungal infection after I mentioned it so prescribed me diflucan and Antibiotics for lungs a month ago. Nose cleared up slightly but poop got worse only)
At the doctor (third time I've been in last month) when they put blood pressure cuff on arm, below it got very itchy like allergic reaction arm turned red and veins on my wrist turned dark dark blue. He basically laughed at me and scoffed off my pictures of fecal abnormalities. Wrote me a script anyway for albenza (an anti parasite med) just to appease me, gave me a stool culture test kit to take home. The albenza is a medication no one in my town seemed to carry it had to be ordered which took 4 days. Im about to go pick up the scrip and drop off my test (took 4 days to be Able to poop even after at home water enema- only got out some mucus strands and tiny bit of water after putting in 3/4 of a bag enema)

Last night I took 2 tablespoons of coconut oil for the first time and put fresh garlic and some more of the oil in veggies that I sautéed. Immediately after eating I felt awful. Like I had to faint puke and have runs all at once. My heart was racing so fast and my breathing was very fast too. I sat on toilet and moaned for about 30 minutes. I felt a crawling sensation all over. Couldn't poop until this morning after a cup of coffee and it was incredible. Nice well formed poop and mostly separate worm like mucus things in abundance. Nose feels better. Blew out and coughed up a lot of the mucus worm things. Head feels normal not much itching feel like myself again. Got a good sample to take for testing.
